  1. Your not SOL. In the Advanced Configuration settings in GameEX,In the Advanced MAME settings, place your command line on the Run on Exit line. Mine is ""C:\Program Files\Marquee Magician v2.0\Launch MM v2.0.exe" "GameEx"" and don't forget to set it to stop it when ending or exiting GameEX in Tweeks/Performance on Launch on Exit Don't wait. Mine is ""C:\Program Files\Marquee Magician v2.0\Launch MM v2.0.exe" "kill"" That is if you use the GameEX Advanced Configuration that is. But maybe it will help.
  2. They are for non rom tables or EM Tables
  3. VBS scripts and the tables need to be in the same folder together, but the roms should be in there own. Just easier I guess.
  4. I have a 2 screen set up with VP 9.12 and the back glass working with the roms (AKA-Active back glass) and all works great. I looked at the ini also and yes ,the rom path does need to be where the tables are but the working path I have set up where the EXE is placed. So Try these RomPath=F:\GameEx\EMULATORS\vpinball\tables (If this is where the tables are) WorkingPath=F:\GameEx\EMULATORS\vpinball (if this is where the exe is placed) Command=VPinball911.exe -play -"[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" (Add \[ROMFILE]) Hope this helps

    Visual Pinball

FYI The latest VP is version 9.12
  6. You know that you may have something about the EMU not closing cleanly. Correct me if if I am wrong on this. The newest VP version I can not run in 32bit mode due to driver issues with ATI (hopefully will be worked out soon)so I have to run the tables in 16bit. When I close the EMU there is a pause or blink on the screen before I am back to my desktop. Would this be the problem causing the issues I have from time to time in GameEX?
  7. I have a problem with GameEX not responding to any key board or control panel movements or buttons after exiting Visual Pinball (9.12) with UltraVPServer running active backglass. It does not happen every time but does happen frequently. The only way I can get out is Ctrl-Alt-Del and end it. MAME,Daphne and others work with no problems, just pinball has this issue. Can any one help?
  8. LOL Yea, I was aware of the memory issue with UI version, but I have tried the normal MAME with the same results. But glad to say that this latest update of 11.67 did the trick, I have full set of games showing again. Thank you Awesome work Tom as always.
  9. I am using MAMEUI32 0.142 with 0.142 rom set Thanks for the update.
  10. Would it have anything to do with this?
  11. I have tried with updating twice and no luck
  12. I am having similar problems, my mame list will only show the first 84 games.Even the gamelist.txt does not show all the games in it.The most I have seen after several attempts was 120. I have backed up everything and even went to as far as uninstalling and deleting the folder of gameEX,then installing and setting up only the MAME directories and left all setting as default, still no full game list. I tried my .141 roms with .141 mameui32 and my .142 roms with .142 mameui32 (each set have there own HDD)The directories are correct as I double checked this. Both versions of mame I have work fine out side of GameEX. This all came about when I updated GameEX to version 11.65. Is there any way of getting the install of 11.64 to see if my problems are with the newest release?
  13. Thanks
  14. What I am looking for is a way to save a back up of Daphne's current set up on my system. Like what we can do with the emulators by exporting and saving a ini file. Or is there another way to get same or similar results so I don't have to redo Daphne from scratch.
  15. Just out of curiosity, have you tried testing a different Mame build other than Mameuifx32 and see if it does the same thing? Just a thought. PS. Don't forget, like Adultery says, that if you update MAME, say to 0.141, to run same rom set 0.141.
  16. I am not familiar with Mameuifx32, I use MameUI32, maybe similar setting anyway. when you start the game can you get into the settings option by pressing the tab? There should be a analog setting list that you can adjust the sensitivity and speed of the trackball and spinner. when these are set to high I get the same issue. Hope this may help.
  17. I only run in full screen.
  18. I have this same thing happening. I am using custom menu settings and have only 4 listings, which gameEX always starts on the second on the list, and the first is not seen until you move cursor back up to see it.
  19. I have a core2duo with a ati card, and have yet to find a table that would not work for me.
  20. I have updated my pinball exe to the newer version, VPinball 9.11, and when I exit a table and return to menu on GameEX, none of the controls work. The only way to get out is to Ctrl Alt Delete and stop GameEX that way. I have MAME and Daphne set up also and don't have this issue when exiting them. VPinball 9.09 had no problems. Any ideas please. Thanks
  21. Firefox is in MAME and works. Goal To Go was broken in Daphne when Cliff Hanger was fixed. As of now Goal To Go still does not work unfortunately.
  22. By trial and error I have figured it out. It is now working the way I wanted. Thanks for wanting to help Draco
  23. Is there a way to have GameEX start directly into emulators menu. I would like it to show all emulators at startup. Thanks

    laser games

Open Daphne Click on configure Should be a line that says scoreboard mode. set as MPEG VIdeo Overlay 1 or 2 Depending how you want it to look.
  25. :Requested option: Could there, or is there a way to set up GameEX for pinball to use a back glass on a second monitor? I would love for me to have my monitors one above the other(for a potential cab build)and have MAME games display there marquee (on top) when the game does not have the option or need for a second monitor. Similar to what is used now but be able to choose what is displayed. Also to be able to have the top monitor as back glass for pinball tables. I noticed that there are static and animated back glass for tables and would love for this to be an option on GameEX
