  1. That works closing vp in gameex but the cmd is left open. Plus is there a way for vp to close with out having to tell it in the popup menu for the editor?
  2. This is what I have used for the bat file. The bat file is in the vp folder where the exe is, the bat if pointing at closing vp which does work outside of gameex. C:\GameEx\Emulators\Visual Pinball\taskbat.bat
  3. ok I have just tried to launch a different program in the launch after line and it also did not launch. Is this a bug with the launch after option?
  4. ok it works but only outside gameex again. I just can not get any launch after files to work.
  5. ok the shortcut to bat works to kill vp on its own but not in gameex under emu's launch after.
  6. I found a way to get this to work. What I had to do is make a shortcut of the bat file and then right click properties go to advance and tell it to run as adimin. now to see if it shortcut works in gameex.
  7. Ok I have the bat file working but only if I run it as an admin. How can I get this to run with admin permissions? it always needs to be told and does not save these permissions.
  8. Maybe this will help. I use this as my command line epsxe.exe -nogui -slowboot -loadbin "[rompath]\[romfile]" -loadmemc0 "memcards\[rom]" and I point the rom folder to where the images/cue or bin are
  9. Ok I got cmd to close it out when it is run as admin. I put this into the launch after line and it did not work like before So now the question is how will this translate me using this in gameEX?
  10. Just tried that Taskkill /F /IM vpinball.exe in my XP setup and it will kill it there. Just not in the win8 set up
  11. I have tried to use the line Taskkill /F /IM vpinball.exe in cmd.exe and it still would not close out VP. Not sure why this won't close.
  12. I did try that command and it did not work for me. Not sure if it has to do with windows 8, just starting to get to know this OS. I will try it again and post if it worked.
  13. Never done this before. How would I do this if you don't mind me asking.
  14. I have seen this and it did not help.
  15. I have VP working and I have looked to no avail to find out how to get VP to close automatically. Tables start and play just fine but when I try and escape back to GameEX it will go to VP and want to select escape to editor which the editor also does not close. I have to manually close this once out of GameEX. OS is windows 8 and VP's ini posted What am I missing or need to do to get a clean out. Game Card help

I am having an issue with my game card. I have noticed that it does not update so I went to get a new one. It is giving me a card with a different user name on it. It has been a while but I think at one time I used this as a user name but can not remember. I would like to be able to use my regular username on the card. Please help Thanks Rodger (R-DuB) http://www.gameex.com/community/gamecards.aspx?gamecard=1&id=Carcass

    Custom menu ?

Ok I have set this all up and did change the custom menu for the emu group, but It seems that I must be missing something because I can not get it to work. It shows the Arcade Games(MAME) in start menu as the other emu's like it should, but now I can not go into the Arcade Games. it does nothing when I try to enter the list for games. The only way I was able to get it to work once was when I added another emu to the group. 0;1;2 then it shows all the games + but I wanted it to show just MAME games. So am I forgetting a step?

    Custom menu ?

It has been a while I was gone and need a little help with a new setup. Everything is working perfect and I have made a custom menu like this at start Arcade Games Laser Disk Games Nintendo Super Nintendo My question is how to setup MAME with no sub menu in it. Like when I go into laser disk games, it shows list of games right away, but I always have a sub menu in MAME. Thanks Oh Love the new look here. Great work.
