Not sure where in ini, but if you go into the gameex setup wizard under mame settings, down the list look for advanced settings and place that command line in the run on launch. Don't forget to put a command in the run on exit also. ""C:\GameEx\Marquee Magician\Launch MM v2.0.exe "mame" "KILL"" Unless you want it to show a title or picture upon exiting mame at that point.

No it is not working in windowed mode.

Launches but after title screen just a black screen again.

Not sure if it matters but my OS is XP Pro with SP3

Tried 1.25 again and same.

Went to control panel and went to change mouse pointer and I get an error that says. I will try 1.25 again and report back

No change for me. it will show title screen and then nothing.

1.24 locks up with black screen for me right after title screen Did try EXE above and same

Could the horizontal version of the the underlay have a full screen image support, or have a default table image. I would like to use this image because I don't use any table images.

When I try and use the underlay_horiz png. PinballX shows title screen and then crashes. No problems using overlay_horiz png.

XMLAlso the Table Images Desktop folder does not show any images in menu. I have tried JPG and PNG formats.

I have some wheel images and or backglass that are showing up twice when there are 2 different tables. For instance The Simpsons The Simpsons pinball party shows The Simpsons pinball party twice on wheel Eightball Eightball Deluxe shows Eightball Deluxe twice on wheel Black Knight Black Knight 2000 shows Black Knight 2000 twice on wheel and so on. All the wheel images and backglasses are named correct. When I select say the first table listed as The Simpsons pinball party, The Simpsons table would play, and the second listed as The Simpsons pinball party, that table would play. So the tables are playing but it only shows the longer named art work.

Is there a way to use this great pinballx inside gameex? I use desktop tables and love that I can use this setup for these types of tables, and was so very simple to setup. I am hoping that using this will fix any issues I am having with my win8 setup for vp in gamex. If so not sure how to setup. would it be like a PC game or what would work best?

Would it work just naming it default, or would you have to make one for every rom?

You know what I think that it is in the cfg not the ini folder and look for the default file. it is this one that controls what you want. just change to <port type="UI_CONFIGURE"> <newseq type="standard"> KEYCODE_TAB or make a copy of this (just in case) and delete the default file. mame will create a new one with all the original settings.

to reset the tab button go into the folder where mame is look for the ini folder, look for the mameui ini I believe the tab can be changed there. ui_key_view_pagetab "KEYCODE_LALT KEYCODE_B" I am trying to do this by memory so I my be wrong on the file. but there is a way to correct this as I have done this oops myself. I will play around with it and let you know for sure as far as the first problem, I do not use an Ipac so not to sure.

Ok after fReqEnCy and I have tried a number of different settings and batch files (thanks), there was one I did not try, re-download and reinstall the launcher step by step again. Now I can get it to work but this time gameex loses focus after escaping a table and returns to desktop minimized. This I have no clue on what to do.

when the cmd is open it says that access is denied to c:gameex\emulators\visual pinball\tables
