Hey Brian thanks again for the help! It seems to be working perfectly as an emulator! I have a question though some games like Tekken don't respond to the controls except for up,down,left,right and the start button. Anyway to fix this? I would use AHK but can't figure out what the mappings are in Zinc since I've set up all the games to use the X-arcade layout.

Oh yea I almost forgot about that I still have that installed on the cabinet that program was very useful.

Sweet I didn't think of that. Oh one more thing outside of GameEx Zinc works with X-arcade but inside of GameEx it doesn't. Anyway I'm sure you guys are tired of hearing about my problems

This worked on my desktop computer but for some reason wouldn't work on my cabinet strange huh? lol I tried Brian's method of setting it up as an emulator and its working out great so far. I was hoping to set it up in the Mame list since these are arcade roms too. I had no problems setting up the awesome model 2 emulator though

Same here, To be run Zinc outside of GameEx I'm using the Zinc GUI. I was trying to set it up in Advanced Mame options. Thanks for the guide!

Tried all of that still a no go this is really weird Thanks for trying though! There has to be some way to fix this? For all I know its probably so simple that I've over looked.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Hmm it is a little odd that my Zinc options are shorter than your's. I do have a renderer.zin the others are d3d_renderer.znc,glide_renderer.znc and ogl_renderer.znc I don't see the one's you listed perhaps thats the problem? everything else seems to run in GameEx from Mame to all my emulators I've got setup any ideas?

I just switched to the Valhalla theme and I must say awesome job firebrand_X!! I'm really impressed with it and the backgrounds. I two questions though. How do you make the font bigger? I have it set to bigger in the settings (its big on other themes just small on this one. and how do you use the Mame and Neo-Geo backgrounds? For Neo-Geo I'm using Mame thanks dude!

Oh I can understand that, Yea I've been keeping up to date so far. I couldn't find the loaders folder I'm sure I'm looking in the wrong spot as usual I'm trying to set it up in the advance mame configuration the roms show up under Playstation under Mame but they don't seem to work. I was going to check and make sure its set to full screen. I was having the same problem with Turbo Grafix 16 and I had to set it to full screen in the configuration file *Edit* Looks like it was set to full screen in the config file guess I'll rule that out.

Hmm doesn't look like I have the loader I do have ZiNcGUI.exe I know that isn't going to help maybe someone else is having a similar problem and can help? I don't think uploading the loader would be allowed

Hmm you mean the GameEx log? I don't know about the command line but under zinc exe I have ZiNc.exe. Everything seems to be setup correctly. Under Zinc options I have --renderer=.\renderer.znc. It runs perfectly outside of GameEx any ideas?

I'm having the same problem except for me after launching a Zinc game it shows a blank screen and then goes back to the game list any ideas?

I'm having the same problem it was working fine a few minutes ago now I'm getting these errors out of the blue. I even tried installing the latest Directx with no luck *Edit* Nevermind I seem to have fixed it

I have the dual joystick version it works very well in Mame and GameEx I also recommend it for the price.

Nevermind the above I fixed the framefile it was just a directory issue

Oh yea thats a good idea I'll be sure to go into msconfig and have it not load up

Thanks Brian I'll try this version I'm not sure what keys are doing it but sometimes when I try and do a key combo in Mame to pause,reset etc.. (forgot what I assigned those key combos to do) Ati catalyst settings window will pop up

Will this disable other hot keys as well? I tried the Wobbly.exe file but everytime I start GameEx a little window pops up and says something like an older version of Wobbly.exe is running.

Hmmm thats pretty strange I haven't had any problems with auto updating
