Hey glad to hear you got it going! I think some of the newer 3D titles are still a little slow or still not working. Mortal Kombat 4 seems fine on a good PC.

I heard Daphne just has some issue with Vista I get a blank screen too with sound.

I didn't think to try that thanks! And I understand Naomi emulation is pretty flaky at the moment

Hey Brian, I don't think it's my graphics card it does the same thing on my desktop which is running an Ati Radeon x1950 pro I think it may have something to do with my settings. The other Issue is mainly related to the region of the bios.

Finally got it to work! Thanks Btw I know this has nothing to do with the wrappers but does anyone know why during the splash screen the background it black and all you can see is the orange circle? Also On some games I get a :Not supported by main board" My guess is those games require the bios of their region.

I tried the Naomi DB but it looks like I'm not getting anything unless I'm doing something wrong I'm sure it's something to do with my dumps I'm not really sure which dumps they are.

That's a pretty good price especially for the specs! Anywa... 1.it'll definitely play just about everything with no slowdown. Not sure about games like Mortal Kombat 4 in Mame though it might 2.Vista isn't as bad anymore at least imo I'm using it on my desktop and run Mame/other emulators all the time! 3.I never about a refurb from Tigetdirect but have bought other things from them they have great service! 4.Gateway isn't too bad I have a Gateway laptop I haven't had any problems with it.' I'm having a little trouble setting this up myself. I can't seem to get any of the CP to show up. I'm just now setting up CPWizard again and in the wizard thing where you click preview and I click on a game it loads up the CPWizard menu but I can't seem to get the CP to load up

I say your good to go with all the 2D Mame games and some of the 3D games that run at full speed such as Killer Instinct 1 and 2. About Naomi I'm not sure I know it runs perfectly on both of my systems (cabinet and desktop) I get the best performance out of my desktop of course and I'm using an Core 2 Duo 6320 overclocked to 3.6ghz. Hope that helped!

Oh using a Mame Emumovies set? Yea that is pretty odd I'm using the the SQ set on my cabinet and haven't had any issues. I'm using the FFDSHOW from the GameEx homepage. Not sure why it isn't working for you. I had a similar issue a few months back I ended up having to uninstall all of my old codecs/packs and just using the FFDSHOW.exe from here. But I think you already tried all of that? What OS/ OS version are you using?

Hmm that's strange that it's not working for you. Have you tried playing the Emumovies outside of GameEx in a player like Media Player Classic or Windows Media Player? What Emumovies are you tying to play?

No problem I'm sorry to hear it didn't work. Did you try using the FFDSHOW from here? The K-lite codec pack might be useful too I use it on my desktop good luck!

Try this under Advanced Configuration/Multimedia/HTPC in the Startup Video/Dir just put in C:\Video in the path. Hope this helps this is how I have mine setup
