First of all, thanks for your answers!!! I try it, but don't works for me :( I choose the option ([mapping off] Exit (Alt+F4) ) in the advanced config of the mega drive emulator, and still changing the size of window every time i play a game... Hi All!!! I have a problem with some emulators (especialli Meka and the mega drive emulator). That emulators have the option of press ESC key to enter in Full screen or windows Screen mode. Well, i tried to map keys to evade this action, but i don't success. When i return to play this emulators, both are in window mode. Next time in full screen, and every time the same problem... There is any form to close emulators with escape key, without minimize or maximize to full screen every time? Thanks for your help!!

Hi all, since yester i had the visual pinball tables uncompresed. But today i decided to zip all sets and have a good merged set tables. I configured GameEx importing the default Visual Pinball config (in the config page) for this emulator. I added the *.zip and *.vpt extensions and selected the zip feature on the emulator config. When i try to select a table from gameex, i can see the sets and select one of them. Then inside the selected set, i can see all the tables of that set, but when i select a table i have a black screen and then return to gameex. It's possible to have the tables zipped for this emulator? What can i do? Thanks in advance and excuse my bad english...

Solved the problem adding the word BOXART_ before the name of the videos. But i have another question abut BOXART. If i have a spanish videos with spanish title, where Gameex download the boxart? It's possible to select the web page to download from the box art or select the languaje?

Hello there!!! I installed the latest version of gameex with supossed to play preview videos and box art, but my box art still not viewing... I'm using the MCE V3 theme. It's necessari to activate any option to view the box art in latets version gameex? Thanks a lot.

First of all, thanks for your replies!!! I'm looking for an option to put an specific folder for the box art, and i can't find it. In other hand, the boxart is of the videos in my hard disk, not the roms of games. I have some divx videos and gameex download automatically the box art (and put the same name of my video's names). When i enter to my videos inside gameex, i see a small preview of the film. My question is if it's possible to see the box art of that film (that is in the videos folder in my gameex folder) at the same time of the preview, or if i can see the box art entering in another level menu inside the gameex videos menu. Excuse my english, i expect you understand my question..... Thanks.

Hi all!! I'm using the latest version of gameex, and i have a question about videos box art. I have a folder \GameEx\MEDIA\VIDEOS when i have all the box art of my videos (donwloade automatically by gameex), but when i inside gameex and enter to the videos path, i can only see the preview of the video, but not the box art... It's possible to see both preview and box art? How can i see the box arts of my videos inside gameex? Where is the option to active the box art view (if there is anyone)?. Hi Tempest, and first of all thanks for your reply!!! I tried your solution, but i have a problem. I tried the map files both in nes emulator and genesis emulator. Yes, in gameex apears the list filtered, BUT, in nes emulator, when i try to open a rom, the name of the rom don't match with the name of the rom in my rom folder, and the emulator can't find and open the rom. In genesis emulators, apears in the screen the text "hard reset" and the rom don't open. It seems the map file roms name don't match with the name of my roms directory. What can i do to solve this problem?

Hi all!!! I have some emulators (snes, nes, sms, etc..) that i have more than 5000 roms. This roms are clones, japanese roms, etc... There is any list to filter roms to show only, for example, european roms? If this list exist, how i do to aply it? Thanks in advance, and exuse my bad english.

Hi all, i have my gameex registered since 1 year with my windows xp, but now i migrated to windows vista. When i try to register my gameex, i double click in the .reg file of gameex, and windows says the information has been introducced correct, but i still seeing the nag screen. what i do wrong? Thanks a lot!!!

It´s simple!!! I have some emulators that zip roms don´t have the same name of the game inside. A lot of roms have cut names, and i don´t know what rom is inside. But inside gameex, it takes the rom name, and it show as is, and you can see what rom is. If you don´t want that rom, you have the posibilitie to delete from list, and hard disk. In some emulators there are a lot of clones i don´t want to have on list and my hard disk. How can i delete them if i don´t know what rom is by the name of the zip?????????? Any suggestions? I think this is a feature very usefull for gameex. Excuse my very bad english.

Hi all!!! I have one feature that i thik it would be very important to gameex. It´s the abiliti to delete games (from emulators, or mame list), but not only from the list, also from the hard disk. It could be helpfull to make a better clear list in gameex. It´s possible to implement that feature in gameex??? Thank you!!!

Hi all!! I installed the latest version of gameex and i have a lot of problems... first of all, now with the latest version, if i have on the 3d translation in menus, gameex is very slowwww!!! I have an amd athlon X2 4200+, and ati radeon x850 video card with the latest drivers.... In other versions of gameex i can run perfect with 3d on, but now i can´t..... Another problem is, in all emulators, when i start the emulator i have a black screen... emulator is on, and i can ear the sound of it, but the screen is black!!! I tried to show/hide desktop options but i don´t solve it. !!!! I think gameex conserve the configs when you install a newer version... but i see this is not correct... I reinstalled gameex with the same results!!! Any opinions? Thanks in advance!!! Excuse my very bad english.

Thanks for your reply peterson, but I´m trying fastmame because mame32 don´t run any games at full speed and fastmame is more fast in some of that games. What emultor you recomend me, with similar features of fastmame? I need a emulator for a slow pc, with a minimal resources, and more speed than mame32. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!!

Hi all!!! I tried fastmame today and i have more speed in some games. But now i have a little problem, that is when i enter to play a game, and press the tab key to config my pad buttons, it configs well, but if i exit to gameex and return to play another game, or the same game i configured last, the keys are by default and the config aren´t saved. How can i configure my keys in fastmame and save it to all games? Thanks in advance, and the last question is, what is the official page of fastmame, or where can i donwload the latest version of that emulator? Hi emphatic, I´ve changed video output options as you say, but games are some slow too... I ran mame out gameex, and the problem is the same. I saw mame help to config the program, but i think the configuration in mame config is for a best pc than me. Anybody here with an 1Ghz or less procesor and running gameex and mame perfect? In answer to hansolo77, the problem is in ALL games, i know that there are some games not emulated well at now, but that is not the problem, I think the problem is or a small cpu speed, or in other case a wrong mame config. You know if anybody can run games (well emulated of course) with an 1ghz procesor?? Second, in answer to lingpanda, the motherboard Via Epia has a videocard onboard, but i´m using another PCI graphic card (Ati Radeon 9250 128mb) and it has the latest video drivers (ati catalyst) installed. I think videocard is not the problem, because it´s a great card to emulate mame games, and ram memory is 512, enougth to a lot of games, i think.... I want to know if you have older procesors runing mame games, slower than 1gh, and what are your configs, and what mame emulator are you using for it. All suggestions are accepted. Thanks a lot for your help, and another time, excuse my very bad english.

Hi all, first of all thanks to all those answer in this post. I have a mini barebone pc with a "Via Epia M series" motherboard. I´ts a Via C3 procesor at 1Ghz, 512 MB of ram memory and an ati radeon 9250 with 128mb of memory. I´ve installed Windows xp media center edition, and Gameex with MAME and 10 emulators of diferents plataforms. Every emulators runs perfect with this configuration, but MAME games runs a little slow, and sound sttutering anytimes. I want to know what´s the "perfect" config for mame32 (that´s the version of mame I´ve installed) for the best perfomance, or if exist another version of mame (100% Gameex compatible) that can runs mor fast and well with my pc config. Any suggestions are accepted!!! What can i do to run MAME games better than now? Please, i need all your help!! Thanks a lot, and excuse my very bad english.

Hi all!!! My question is about how to run 2 programs when gameex exit. I want to launch a kill to kill a process, and launch another program. I tried to put the correct lines in launch after, and another line in launch after and wait, but it don´t work. It only runs the program in run after and wait. How can i do this? Hi all!! I have installed last week the emulator for matel intellivision games (Nostalgia) and I configured it with the configuration includeid in gameex configuration, but I seen a black screen (when i launch any game) and then return to gameex. What is my problem? I have nostalgia perfectly installed, because i can launch any game with the emulator (without gameex). Thanks in advance!!!
