Ok, reinstalled and downloaded the pdf reader and still make the same. When i want to view a manual or ebook, i press enter to view it and return to prior menu. Suggestions?

I think i installed it, but i'm not sure... The version to download on Gameex homepage is the latest? Can I re-install the Gameex program and preserve all my configurations? thanks in advance.

I don't know because i usually update Gameex, not make a fresh install. I will try to install it manually. There is no other option to activate PDF when Gameex is installed?

Hi all!!! I'm using latest version of GameEx and i have a problem with ebook reader and PDF reader. Everytime i want to open a game/rom manual, ebook or another media in pdf format, Gameex don't do anything, and return to the menu. How can i configure the pdf visor? It's a bug in latest version of GameEx? Thanks in advance!!!

Hi all!!! I updated Gameex and my console logos (emulators) has disapeared. Now i have the logos from the MCE theme. I'm looking for a good resolution console logos. I'm using MCE glossy theme, but i don't like the emulators logos there are on that theme. I'm lookin for the logos of: Sega Master System Sega Megadrive Sega GameGear Nintendo NES Nintendo 64 Super Nintendo Gameboy Gameboy Color Gameboy Advance Visual Pinball Future Pinball PC Engine ZX Spectrum There is any "pack" with all these systems to put it in my Gameex? I found some packs there in the forum, but there are not all the systems logos (in example PC Engine ) Thanks in advance!!!

Ok that is what i do, but at the moment i can't confirm if it remains or it changes when i re-enter GameEx. I'll inform if there is any problem about it. Thanks Draco!!!

Hi all!!! I'm using GameEx some years ago, and in this time i downloaded a lot of screenshots, videos, boxes, etc.. compilations for my Mame and Emulators. Now i have the problem that there are more media than games i have. In example, there are a lot of screenshots, videos, etc for games / roms that i not have on my system. There is any "easy way" to del all the media that i'm not using of my system to make it clean??? I know there is a new utilitie by Circo that donwload only the media for the games you have installed on you emulator folder, but i don't want to re-donwload all my media because at the moment i only have a 3G internet connection, and it could be very large to re-download. There is any script or something similar to make a list of your roms in a determinated folder and compare with the media emulator folder and del the not used media??? Thanks in advance!!!

Ok first of all answering questions: YES, jukebox is playing everytime I play GameEx. And talking about it, there is a "problem" i'm having some releases ago. There is no way to make jukebox play my music list randomly. I have selected the option "play random" in my jukebox but the music plays everytime the same sequence. I'm having this problem in ALL emulators i have (Master System, Super Nintendo, Nintendo, Game Boy, Nintendo 64, Spectrum, etc.....) On the other hand, replacing the BASS_SFX file seems to solve the problem. Another "bug" i'm having some releases ago is when i enter in some emulators page, i see a view that is not selected in my config. In example, I have the list game view for all emulators and Mame, is the view that you see a name list of games and have only a screenshot or video of the selected game on the left, but sometimes when I enter to any emulators I have the view of multi screenshots/videos selected. I don't know if that is a bug or is normal.

Hi all!!! All time i try to play any emulator (not mame) i can play the games perfect, but when i exit the emulators i get this message error: MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ DEBUG LIBRARY DEBUG ASSERTION FAILED! PROGRAM: C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\GAMEEX\FAMEEX.EXE FILE: DBGHEAP.C LINE: 713 EXPRESSION: _CRTISVALIDHEAPPOINTER(PUSERDATA) (PRESS RETRY TO DEBUY THE APPLICATION) The worst is i need to open process list, exit Gameex process and restart my computer because my Task Bar dissapear too.... Hi Tempest!!! Thanks for your fast reply!!! I installed the game card and read all instructions. I can see a new menu in gameex (Mame NetPlay) but when I enter it I see the message "no games found". I think is because there are no players hosting a net game at this moment ¿Sure? I will see the hosting net games in this new menu? Thanks for your help.

Thanks all for your answer!!! the problem was i had the name of that roms in the excluded filters and that names changed for other new names. That is the reason to not filter the roms in the list of excluded filter. Now i changed the names with the new ones and work fine another time. Thanks and sorry for this.

Hi all!!! I'm having problems showing all my Mame games in GameEx. I have some games like (The Simpsons or Sunset Riders) that have a version for 4 players and another version for 2 players. The difference is only that in the 2 players version you can select your character, and in the 4 players you can only play with the first character. GameEx is not showing my 2 players version games, only show the 4 players version. If i play with MameUI i can see all my games (2 and 4 players version) and can play it, but GameEx filter my games. How can i show my 2 players version of the games that have it? Thanks in advance and excuse my very bad english.

Hi all!!! In latets verion of Gameex i'm having problem with accentuated words. I'm using spanish language in GameEx and the accents apears like a ? symbol. I've tried to change the fonts in Gameex Config to a font with accents (Arial, Time News Roman, etc...) but the problem still happening. Thanks.

Hi Tom!! It's possible to make GameEx download artwork like boxes, snaps, etc.. from dbgames to GameEx for that games that don't have this artwork? In the Wii console there are some "emulators" or "launchers" that download the snaps or boxes from internet pressing a button. If this is not implemented in GameEx (i don't know about it) it could be a good feauture for a future release. Another time, thanks for that beautiful frontend!!!

Hi all!!! I've noticed that if i check the "windows xp sp3" compatibility option, Gameex don't crash. I will post the log if it happens another time. If you want, i can unchek the compatibility option to try crash it.

Hi, i'm seeing that GameEx closes after 5 minuts play. I'm seeing that since 2 or 3 versions ago. I'm using Windows 7 ultimate and latest version of GameEx. If i'm playing an emulator, GameEx closes (apear the typical windows message saying that GameEx close for a problem) and the emulator still running. Sorry for my english.

Hi All!!! I found a small bug in GameEx. When you enter a game emulator and this game has other systems, if you scroll to see the preview of that game in the section "other system" and then go back and try to play the game, GameEx try to run emulator system with the rom the last game seen. I.E.: 1 - Go to Master System emulator 2 - Select game "PaperBoy" 3 - Enter game to see description 4 - You can see that you have Paperboy in other systems installed in Gameex like Megadrive, SuperNintendo, etc... 5 - Scroll to "other systems" section to see the preview of that game in other systems 6 - Return up and try to play game with your Master System emulator 7 - The result is Gameex try to run Master System emulator with the rom of Megadrive Paperboy, and of course the result is an error of missing rom or something similar (depending emulator) Excuse my very, very bad english... I'm trying to explain it best i can. If you don't understand me, i can try to explain it in other words. Thanks for that wonderfull frontend Tom!!!
