  1. Thanks for warning!!! The feature not work only for games without snaps. It seams to make a snap for all games in the GameEx database of each emulator. I think my question is an option to be implemented in that fantastic frontend. Thanks for your help.
  2. Thanks for the answer Bkenobi!!! I use the circo snaps too, but there are some games that are no "snaped" in circo's collection. I will try this option to make the snaps and see if it work.
  3. Hi all!!! I have some games in my emulators list that haven´t snapshots and want to know if it's possible to make a single snapshot ONLY for that games. The only option i see inside GameEx is to make snapshots for all games. Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks another time!!! I will try it and coment at forum the results
  5. Thanks for your answers, but how i "tell" GameEx installer to work from here in Windows 7? What do you mean it's to install Gammex in Windows 7 in the same folder that i have installed in Vista? It's that correct? Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi all, i installed a windows 7 in a second partition of my hard disk, and want to export all my configs from my gameex on vista installation to export to windows 7. How can i export ALL configs of my emulators, etc... and import it in a fresh install of Gameex? Thanks in advance.
  7. Hi Lawrence!!! I don't know if my set is from Gamebase. Your solution is well but i don't need to match the snaps with the game names. The problem is that i have a roms set and a snap set that match correct but they have rare names. I have another spectrum roms set with correct names but the problem is i haven´t the snaps to match with this correct set. It's necessary to rename all the snaps to mathc correct with the correct roms and i think there is not a program to do that. The only solution to make that i think is with a database that contain 3 columns (bad named rom, bad named snap and correct rom name), and starting from this make a program to rename line by line the snaps to the correct rom name. I tried the program artwork renamer (that makes this work well) but only changes a 15% of my snaps names. You know if there is a database with the bad names of the roms and the correct names? Your solution I think is only to match 2 similar names of snaps and roms to clear the simbols in their names, but I think is not the solution for the problem I'm talking. Thanks in advance.
  8. Hi all!!! I have a problem with my spectrum roms set in Gameex. The spectrum roms have a names like grnberet (for the game Green Beret) or similars rare names. When i list the games in Gameex i have the same rare names like the name roms (not the correct names). There is any way to show the correct names of the roms in Gameex list? I have another set with the correct names, in example for the game Green Beret i have the name Green Beret (1986)(imagine software). That is the correct name i want to show in gameex list, but the problem is, if i select this correct named set i have the same problem with the snapshots of the games. My spectrum snapshots have the rare names too, and not match with the roms if i select the correct named set folder. As you see, it's a problem that i can´t solve, i think the only option is to rename manually ALL roms, but i don´t want to do that. I tried the program arwork renamer, but only "translates" a 15% of total snaps names. There is any solution for that problem? Thanks in advance and excuse my bad english.
  9. Hi lingpanda!!! I opened the visual pinball database file in Gameex/data/emulators and i only see the ID, Name and TOSEC... There is not any publisher, year, etc... i think that is the problem... Where can i find a updated visual pinball data base for gameex? Thanks!!!
  10. Hi lingpanda!!! Thanks for your reply!!! I solved the problem of vbs with a .bat file that copy all scripts to the folder every time i play a table. I have only one problem, Why i can´t select filters like manufacturer, year, etc.... with my visual pinball tables? What i can do to enable filters with this emulator? Thanks in advance!!!
  11. Hi All!!! I have two problems with the setup of Visual Pinball. 1 - When I enter the game list inside Gameex and select any of the tables, there is no filter (manufacturer, year, genere). I remember in my old installation of Gameex that appeared the filters and could choose the games from the same manufacturer or of the same year. What can I do to apply filters to my Visual Pinball games?. I have selected the Visual Pinball database in the Gameex configuration for that emulator. 2 - I have my tables torrenziped. The Visual Pinball program can not run Visual Pinball tables torrenzip, I have choose the option in Gameex to indicate that the tables are torrentzip and the program unzip correctly and I can play all games. The problem is that some tables need *.vbs (visual basic) files and should be in the same folder as the tables to play. If you put the *.vbs files in the folder where GameEx uncompresses tables to play with Gameex, Gameex delete the entire contents of the folder including *. vbs files. What can I do to make gameex not delete my visual basic files? Where can I leave the *. vbs files to play with tables torrentziped in Gameex? Thanks for your help and forgive my English.
  12. First of all, thanks for your reply bkenobi!!! The problem was the filter "i don´t wan´t clones", if you active this filter a lot of games are not showing (for example the 2 players version of Simpsons game). Now, i activated the filter "i want clones", but the problem now is there are a lot of games i don´t want to show, because there are diferents revisions of the same game.... Any suggestions to make a more clear list with only some clone games? Thanks!!!
  13. Hi all, i've re-installed my Gameex software in my new pc with windows vista, and i'm having problems in the Mame "all games" list inside of Gameex. When i run gameex and go to all games list there are some games not showing, for example, in the list there is the Simpsons game for 4 players, but the game for 2 players is not listed. Same with other games like Sunset Riders, it only list the 4 players game, not the 2 players game. I haven´t any filter apply to the list, i see the advance mame config in Gameex, and the option "use game filter" is disabled. What i'm doing wrong? If i enter to the Mameui.exe directly, i can see ALL games, including the 2 players games. Any suggestions? Excuse my very bad english. Thanks in advance

  15. I don't understant what you say. I need to put the cd covers inside the audio track folder? If this problem is not solved, how can i disable the cd cover function? Thanks.
  16. Hi all!! There is no solution for that problem? Any sugestions?
  17. 1. Section : Music Cover 2. Description : There is only one cd cover for all my music 3. GameEx Version : 9.80 4. Status : ¿Reported? 5. Steps : 1. Start PC 2. Start Gameex 3. Go to Gameex start menu 4. I can see a cd cover in the left down corner (this cover is not in the media folder) 5. The cover is not the correct for the song i'm listening 6. Press the button to change to next song in jukebox 7. The song changes but the cover still the same. 8. If i go to media folder i can see all the covers of all my music in jukebox (downloaded by Gameex automatically) except the cover you can see in main page So the bug is that the cd covers not change when you change the song, and the cover you see all time is not in the media folder. I'ts a rare bug.
  18. Hello everyone, I have a problem with Gameex and cd covers. The problem is that previously appeared on the covers of each CD of the songs on the jukebox, but now appears only a cover of one of my songs and the cover not change. I'm using the default theme of gameex. I deleted the contents of the folder media/albums, Gameex have downloaded the new cd cover another time, but still appears the same as before (and that cover is not listed in the folder media/albums but still apearing). Is there any other place where Gameex store the covers? What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks and excuse my english please.
