I created a MAME list just like you showed in your description. The title of the list shows up, but the name of the game I put in the list didn't show up. Here is what I put in the .ini file [FOLDER_SETTINGS] RootFolderIcon = cust1.ico SubFolderIcon = cust2.ico [imek's Games List] primrage For some reason the game primrage doesn't show up in the list. I also don't understand how GameEx will know how to start the game from just using the name I give it?

Hello, I am new to GameEx and am having trouble with a couple issues. 1. I want to remove all the extra MAME games and categories that show up when I run the program so that I only find the ROMs I chose 2. I want to use other emulators that I downloaded from websites and somehow plug them into GameEx so that they run the ROMs rather than use the emulators provided by GameEx. I was told by someone that I need to point GameEx to the correct path in the Setup Wizard, but can someone explain that in more detail? I know where to open the Setup Wizard but where inside it do I go and what options to I enter. 3. Also when I try to run a ROM using [Arcade] Arcade MAME the game seems to load to %100 but then it blacks out and takes me back to the Play This Game menu. What am I doing wrong? Please help me with these 3 issues.

I followed the directions listed at this webpage http://www.moddb.com/groups/mame-arcade/tutorials/how-to-add-games-to-mame. First I opened MAME outside of GameEx. Then I placed the ROM into the ROM folder. Then I started up MAME and scrolled down a list of thousands of games looking for the one game I added to it and could not find it anywhere. The list was alphabetical but that didn't help it still wasn't there. How do I get rid of all these extra games? I don't want them I just want the game I chose.

Also another problem I have is that I am trying to use [Arcade] Arcade (MAME) to play a ROM. It seems to load up fine but after it reaches %100 it blacks out and then takes me back to the screen that says Play This Game. I placed the ROM in the C drive Roms\MAME\Roms folder. How do I tell GameEx to use an emulator that I downloaded from a website? I have an emulator that isn't provided by GameEx.

I downloaded emulators from a website how do I put them into GameEx? Is there a folder in the C drive i can drop them into? I don't want to have to use the emulators that GameEx makes me use.
