Heya Visitor Q! Could you please put your posts in codeboxes so that it's easier to view and don't have to scroll all the way down for the next post. Makes things easier for headkaze to help ya!
Tom has been informed and will look into it when he gets a chance. For the time being the only solution would be to either script something to handle loading the emu after all contents have been unzipped or to unzip them.
Ok after testing I found that I'm unable to run in GameEx as well using zip support. I can run fine without it. Sorry for assuming it would work. Didn't test in GameEx since don't use this emulator for Neo-Geo CD. I use Nebula. I'll do some more tests to see what I come up with. Edit: Seems like it's not unzipping all the files before the emulator loads which is why it's not loading the rom. Visitor Q had an issues like this before and Brian Hoffman had created a script to have it wait till it was finished. I'll have Tom take a look at this.
For testing purposes, try it with an unzipped image. Just use the command-line and then we'll worry about getting it working in GameEx. Has to be something simple as It's running fine on my end. Let me test in GameEx as I don't use this emulator.
Not sure as I didn't create the included Map file but here's one I just created now for you. This was based off Nebula 2.25b which is the current version. Let me know if this works for you.
That shouldn't matter really as long as you have 7zip turned on of course so that GameEx will load the game. Make sure your filters are set to include cue files. If loading with out the -nogui then it should run the rom but will require you to press enter to run the game. Adding the -nogui setting will work but must make sure your settings are correct. Post your config for me to see before any changes. Also post your raine32_sdl.cfg file as well so I can take a look and we can get it going cuz it works fine on my end.
Dude! Relax! I was kidding! Hence the laugh and sticking of the tongue. We all know you were trying to help. I knew what he was talking about based on his first post that he was looking to do this for SNES.
I mean that I'm not willing to create such an app but am willing to help with the coding if he/she takes an interest in learning. The goal would be to choose the control layout based on which game is passed to the command-line.
Post your config for that system please! What naming convention did you change from and to using RomCenter? Looks like changed from goodname to no-intro.
