  1. LOL. Nice Tom! Thanks! Dang! This might go to my head. LOL. Became Elite and a God all in a few days.
  2. As far as support then we would have to wait for headkaze or flash to see what they have planned. I do know they are busy with other projects so if this is wanted, someone can take it upon themselves to put in the time to do the db for the community.
  3. Well an older version is not necessarily needed. You could still run into problems with an older version. ROMS need to match the version of MAME. So whichever MAME rom set you have then you should be using that version of MAME. If you're unsure of what MAME roms you have then there's no simple way of really knowing. I suggest rebuilding your set to match the version of MAME that you choose. IMO would suggest just using the latest version.
  4. For the naming issue, Just use the map file for that emulator and point to it in configuration. The map can be found here. As far as your other issue, I'm not quite sure what you mean. The game should be launching directly from the list unless you have zip support turned on or something. Please give more info about what you mean.
  5. Thanks to Tom for giving us somewhere to be. Thanks to the fellow elite members and mods who give great support to this community. And also thanks to the community for the help that they give and those who need help cuz without them, we wouldn't be mentioned.
  6. Hard to say as I can't see what exactly is going on. I did it with no problems so maybe someone will jump in and see if they're having that issue as well or can give some input.
  7. Only other solution would be to setup as an emulator and not use the integrated part of GameEx. Then you could have more control and can still list the same way more or less using the MAME db.
  8. Since PSX doesn't use the Goodname or No-Intro naming convention then it would just be wise to copy the psx database and enter in the names of your roms in the Goodname section. That's how the others are done. But would make a copy and name it it your own file to avoid it being over written during updates.
  9. Try saving the map file that it generates when it updates the list and then point to it in configuration. That should speed it up for ya.
  10. Is error still blank for ROM path? Post LOG again please.
  11. It's an external application so it can be started itself. Just click Start>>>All Programs>>>GameEx>>>Advanced Configuration or Setup Wizard. Whichever one you prefer.
  12. Yup! It's your MAME Path! It doesn't display anything so I'm assuming you have that blanked out? Point it to the path of your MAME roms.
  13. Well it's saying that it can not find the ROM path. So fix that. Don't know which one you need to fix since you didn't post the whole log. Maybe perhaps for MAME?
  14. Have you tried adding those roms to the Don't Filter These ROMS setting found in the Advanced MAME Settings?
  15. Sounds good Tom! Thanks! Can't wait to see the new release.
  16. I tried mapping the Left Alt key which is mapped to LMenu as well but get no results. Only other solution is to map the Left Alt key to something else. Tom would have to look into this or maybe someone else has a better solution.
  17. Easiest thing to do would be to use GameEx Setup Wizard and browse to the Keyboard Input section and define your keys there.
  18. How many of your roms are showing in the Sega Model 2 List jombee?
  19. Nice Tom!
  20. A tool like this already exists. It was created by headkaze. Discussion about it can be found here.
  21. Just tested and all it needs is one match to at least display the details (i.e. By Name, By Category, By Manufacturer, By Year, Biography, etc.) So if your not seeing that then you don't have any matches. Please, in detail, tell me what exactly you've tried as it works and only took a few seconds on my end to get it going. I personally would test on another emulator where your roms are using a known naming convention, just for testing purposes. Then you can see what the databases should be showing. And if those work then it's obvious it's a naming issue with the Sony Playstation database.
  22. There's a readme? I thought I was making all this stuff up. Way to put in some leg work JK1974!
  23. Good deal! Have fun!
  24. I've read about clrmamepro not creating solid archives as well. Here's what's taken from the notes: Region flags will be missing cuz regions are listed different between no-intro and goodtools. Tom would have to support the no-intro region format as well. So perhaps someone should put these features in the request pinned topic so that Tom will be more likely to see them.
  25. In your setup, %{ENTER} is being sent in the SendKeys setting. This is basically doing the same thing that the -fullscreen switch is doing. My guess is that you're telling it to run fullscreen by command-line and then turning it off with %{ENTER}. Remove the %{ENTER} from your setup and see if that helps.
