  3. nullpvr is the cause of a crash for me every time I exit a game?!
  4. Nevermind, now working flawlessly using Ragnarok777's vbs script - http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...t=0&start=0 Thanks guys.

When I run nulldc outside of gameex I first get an error stating the default image "" failed to load at start and when I try to load an image.
  6. Ok I've used Brian's setup as suggested by Chriss. Nulldc launches through GameEx fine, I get the Dreamcast splash screen, then it crashes with the following - Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX Application Name: nullDC_100b1_6.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 47310f19 Fault Module Name: MSVCR80.dll Fault Module Version: 8.0.50727.1434 Fault Module Timestamp: 4757746d Exception Offset: 00046039 Exception Code: c000000d Exception Data: 00000000 OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: f6db Additional Information 2: 3affc3bd18154b4f45fdf21fbc5a577b Additional Information 3: 91d2 Additional Information 4: b8c43e4c433a34da5b0345e397d3e989 Anybody have any ideas?
  7. I've recently resetup GameEx on a new pc after not using gameex for a long while. I'm using the *GDI format, but I cant for the life of me remember the correct commandline to use?? Does anybody have a config they can post up for me to use please, thanks.

Hope that makes sense, thanks.
  9. So I finally got some time to mess about with this but, for some reason I cant get the code above to compile. @Nologic: Would you be kind enough to post a compiled exe or point me in the right direction please. Thanks.
  10. PimpDaddyStu did something similar - http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...ost&p=29483 Saved me a load of HD space. EDIT: I was just about to try this on a folder full of Sega CD Images but, Fusion doesn't recognise mdf/mds?! Pain. EDIT 2: Nevermind, just saw this post - http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...ost&p=33387
  11. Ok after much head scratching whilst reading through the prior thread I think I've got it. So, I need all games in their own folders in one directory, make sure the folders are named as I'd like them. Use rename file to directory, then use the fix cue files program. Finally use CD Dir to map program to generate a map file. I tried this quickly on two games and it worked perfectly. The files were ccd/img/sub type, so my only concern is, how accurate is the fix cue files program for the bin/cue image types? All in all, this is going to save me hours and hours of messing around if the cue files thing isnt a problem. Thanks a lot Nologic.
  12. Yeah I must have 800 or so titles in various formats (bin/cue, iso, ccd) It looks a mess in GameEx as is, hence the need for a map file to tidy it up. I'm hitting the sack shortly (two kids to manage tomorrow on a hectic xmas day!) any tips greatfully received Nologic.
  13. Probably should have said I'm in the UK/UK Keyboard. After much keypressing I've found it in the bottom left of my keyboard on the backslash key with shift pressed. Thanks.
  14. I'm just messing about creating a map file to tidy up my psx list in GameEx. I feel stupid asking this but, how do I get the | character? Which buttons on the keyboard produce this? Thanks, and Merry Xmas.
  15. Ok thanks Brian, just looks untidy thats all.

  17. Didnt think about map files, that would work with a bit of tinkering. How do I get my directory list of games into a txt file so I can edit it into a workable map file?
  18. I've just finished setting up pSX in GameEx, and all works fine. The problem is that games that require more than one disc show up that many times in GameEx, i.e Chrono Cross is a 2 disc game and shows up twice in the list in GameEx. Is there anyway around this?
  19. Try here - https://www.daphne-emu.com/mediawiki/index.php/CmdLine Should have what you need.
  20. redders

    Export Configs

    Brilliant thanks.
  21. redders

    Export Configs

Right I've seriously had enough of Vista so I'm re-installing XP. Is there a way to export all my gameex settings for easy reinstall later?
  22. Thanks Brian, that did the trick.
  23. Thanks a lot for that Stu. Couldn't get the script to work perfectly (kept stopping after a few images), but the end result is I've saved about 60-70gigs of HD space Only thing is, after setting the GDRom Plugin to zNullGD instead of image reader, everytime nulldc boots I'm asked to set the system time/date?! Does it do this for you?, or am I missing something, as that could get quite annoying. I've uninstalled and reinstalled nulldc with the same result.
  24. I'd be very interested in that script if you'd care to share it please. I've got a folder of cdi images of around 160GB, would be nice to see what I could reduce that too.
  25. The turbo fd option in the settings has worked very well. Thanks for the help.
