Ok I've got myself a new gamepad (saitek p2600). Now how the hell do I use it in nulldc? Tried the config keys option but it wont recognise a button press or anything. (yes all drivers are installed and functioning correctly).

I haven't tried converting them yet, I'll give it a shot and see what happens. Thanks Brian.

There are a few enchlon releases which do work but, they primarily are not the ones I'm having problems with. Some are in bin/cue format, these I cant get to boot, what option should I choose when using these with nulldc? I dont have the utopia boot disc, how does that work with gameex? (disc swapping etc)

I've managed to get nulldc working within gameex using CDI images with no problems (ok a few but I'm there now). I've now come across a few games which are in bin/cue format, I'm assuming these are games that require a boot disc or to be made self-booting??? I've tried 'bin2boot' with zero success. So my question is, What do you guys use?/How do you do it? TIA.

Thanks for the great suggestions guys. After looking, the two I'm considering are the logitech rumblepad 2 or the Saitek p2600. I'm leaning more and more towards the p2600 though as I type (looks very nice).

I'm in the market for a new gamepad and was hoping you guys could offer me some advice. I'm looking for something that first and foremost is Vista compatible and secondly has the most usability/compatibility across the emulators out there. Any advice/links greatly appreciated.

Ok, tried the above and from what I can see the rom isnt being loaded by the loader. I've turned UAC off in vista, run the exe in xp compatability mode and still no joy?! Anybody have any other suggestions please?

Right, set the loader to always run as admin. GameEx always black screens and gos no further. When in debug mode I get as in the screen above the fact that its PAUSED for some reason. Hitting space brings up PT, if I hit F2 I get the error message "Rom not loaded". So got a little bit further. Any idea why it pauses and waits for my input to launch?

Done. Changed to fullscreen in settings. Still doesnt work, tried in debug mode, see pics for results. After I press space. The first time I tried in debug mode, after pressing space it bought up the PT main screen and then the open rom screen for me to select the file to load. I dont get what I'm doing wrong....

I've tried 0.5 and 0.82 of PT.

Thanks for the link, but I've had no luck.... I place the loader and other file in the PT folder and the ini files in the relevant gameex folders. When using debug mode, it brings up the command prompt stating a filename with PAUSED at the end, if I hit a key the emulator loads. I tried hitting F2 to see if the game would start but, nothing happens!!!! Any advice please....

Thats a real shame. A guy in this thread http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...8&hl=jaguar reckons he got it working with PT 0.82 which I've tried but to no avail. Any work being done that you know of to improve these emulators and compatibility with GameEx?

I've only been using GameEx for a couple of weeks but I've managed to set up all the emulators I need bar one..... Either Project Tempest or Virtual Jaguar refuse to work. I can get PT to work outside of GameEx but thats it. Does anybody know of a walkthrough I can use to get it set up? Please...
