  1. Sweet.
  2. Ah, I'll certainly take some time out to play around with it on my cab.
  3. I just had a quick look at your program on my pc, it looks very promising. I'll have to try this on my Mame cab some time this week. I noticed the program needed a newer Mame version to work. I tested it on a 0.116u4 which is the latest build of Mame32 I have installed here on my PC. The 0.95 version i mainly use on this computer, couldn't trigger the CPViewer. I'm running version 0.106 of Mame32 on my Mame cab, which is the latest version I could find that saves highscores, so I hope CPViewer works with that. One thing that struck me, was a feature I'd like to see. An "Always At Bottom" and "Always On Top" setting for images. I tried to design my own control panel, and had the images of buttons flicker in front and behind the background control panel randomly, when clicking different areas. But some of the features I quickly ran through amazed me, especially the IRC feature intrigued me. Kudos for all the effort you've put into this so far. I'll be posting feedback when I've become more familiar with it.
  4. Oh yeah, I've been wondering this myself. I have looked for a complete list of customizable GameEx key's, in hope the ones in custominput.ini isn't the only ones.
  5. Here's the key mapping for my Ipac4. P1 Up = Arrow Up P1 Down = Arrow Down P1 Left = Arrow Left P1 Right = Arrow Right P1 B1 = Left Control P1 B2 = Left Alt P1 B3 = Space P1 B4 = Left Shift P1 B5 = Z P1 B6 = X P1 B7 = Insert <used for Start button in console emulators> P1 B8 = Enter <used for GameEx navigation> P2 Up = C P2 Down = V P2 Left = B P2 Right = N P2 B1 = Q P2 B2 = W P2 B3 = E P2 B4 = A P2 B5 = S P2 B6 = D P2 B7 = Home <used for Start button in console emulators> P2 B8 = Escape <used for GameEx navigation> P3 Up = Num 1 P3 Down = Num 2 P3 Left = Num 3 P3 Right = Num 4 P3 B1 = R P3 B2 = T P3 B3 = Y P3 B4 = F P3 B5 = G P3 B6 = H P3 B7 = Delete <used for Start button in console emulators> P3 B8 = Page Up <used for GameEx navigation> P4 Up = Num 5 P4 Down = Num 6 P4 Left = Num 7 P4 Right = Num 8 P4 B1 = U P4 B2 = I P4 B3 = O P4 B4 = J P4 B5 = K P4 B6 = L P4 B7 = End <used for Start button in console emulators> P4 B8 = Page Down <used for GameEx navigation> Player start and coin mappings is MAME default 1-4 and 5-8 respectively. And in MAME, I mapped Page Down to "Pause game" and Page Up to "MAME Menu" That setup has been working perfect for me.
  6. Whoa, that's absolutely awsome. Good job.
  7. Here's the cab i built with a few of my friends. It cost us about 1.200 euro all in all, and there's no doubt its the best money we've ever spent. Built from scratch off Mamerooms "Ultimate Arcade Cabinet II" building plans. It features: - Sony Wega 29" TV - 4 player control panel, powered by I-Pac4. (Pics and details of the controlpanel) - Custom modified 2.1 Creative PC speakers, featuring two JVC car speakers. - Black laminate carefully glued to all sides, except where the artwork is. It's been running GameEx for about a year now, and I'd never consider any other front end.
  8. Hello there, first of many posts from me I expect. I've had GameEx running on my mamecab for just about a year now, and feel experienced enough to finally contribute to this fine front end. I just finished an upgrade of my arcade pc, both hardware and software got an overhaul. On that occasion I updated the danish language file to the newest version 8.78, attached below. This is a complete translation, I even translated the karaoke stuff, even though I don't run this on my cab. So if any of the danish users here observe any inconsistencies, please let me (or Tom) know. I've found a lot of help here on the forum, so I hope I can give a little back with some of the experience I've obtained over the last year. Thanks Tom for a superb front end, and thanks to all in the community who contributed up till now. EDIT: I missed a few var's in the v8.78 ".ini", updated file uploaded. Danish_v8.78.zip
