  1. Hey bent98, here are my current DMD images (all PFX2 tables and my VP tables). Maybe these will help you. As I said: I use them for my PIN2DMD. Kind regards, Jannek Real DMD Color Images.rar
  2. Just open your Images in an editor (e.g. GIMP). Resize them to 128x32 pixels. Use a black background. And finally save them as *.png files. That's it. Kind regards, Jannek PS: I use this process for all of my tables to be shown in PinballX for my Pin2DMD.
  3. How about a screenshot of your table-folder? It seems that your tables named slightly different than given in you XML-file. Kind regards, Jannek
  4. Thanks for your reply, Draco. I´ve just encountered that the current version of the free cam mod isn´t working either... wrong version. Seems that Farsight is doing a good job avoiding anybody uses a cab or customizes the game for a better gaming experience. I guess I will place TPA under a new section called "under construction" within PinballX. I will see... By the way: I see you´re playing SW Battlefront? Let´s share our nicknames to partnership? What you´re thinking? I´m playing currently not that much (because I´m totally focused on my recently finished cab... but I like the game very well!) My Origin-ID / EA-ID is JannekAntilles ... would like to see you there! Kind regards, Jannek
  5. OK, it seems to me that I´m a little bit out of training regarding PinballX configuration. The tables showed up, but they were positioned between all my VP tables. This was because I´ve forgotten to create another XML file to get a separated TPA-List. So, first issue is solved. Next challenge: When I try to start one of the tables the playfield goes black for about 15 seconds (I think it´s working/loading), then the orientation of the screen is rotated (I see a folder on my desktop)... and nothing more. So, here come my next two questions: 1. I think it´s an issue with the parameter naming and/or game name in my XML. How do I have to name the games? Is there a list or a folder where I can find all the correct names of the TPA tables? (similar to the PBFX2 folder where I can find all the table files) 2. Do I need the "Wait for" parameter which is set to 12 seconds by default? Or may I reduce it to 0 seconds? Thanks again in advance! Jannek
  6. Thanks, Draco. I´m sorry for that.
  7. Hello everybody, finally I´ve managed to finalize my Cab... now it´s time for me to try something new. I thought this would be a good time to give TPA another try. 1. I´ve started TPA separatly from PinballX and encountered that it´s only playable in Desktop view (hmmm, otherwise I have to rotate my monitor and fix everything else) 2. I´ve read that PinballX is able to do the rotation, so I tried to enable TPA directly in PinballX 3. I´ve entered the system-information 4. I´ve profed the settings in the config.ini 5. I´ve created a dummy-xml (with just three of my available tables) 6. I´ve copied over some of the "Star Trek - The Next Generation" files from VP and renamed it accordingly But when I start PinballX there is no "Pinball Arcade" in the selection screen!?! (just all my PBFX2 Lists and Pro Pinball - no TPA) I will attach my log, my ini and my temporarily xml file. Maybe somebody of the experts has an idea and may help me out? Many thanks in advance! Kind regards, Jannek log.txt Pinball Arcade.xml PinballX.ini
  8. Hello dinki, make sure that you use different key Settings for "Quit" (which will Exit PinballX) and "Exit Simulator" (which will just Exit Visual Pinball (for example). Using the same key may lead to the issue you´ve discribed. Easiest way is to leave the Setting for "Quit" empty. This should solve your Problem. Kind regrds, Jannek
  9. Three! Great idea, Draco. I've send some invitations around to spread the group. Let's see who will join. Kind regards, Jannek
  10. Just to add some additional ideas. Here´s another one - according to my Cab-Layout. Any suggestions to improve the layout are appreciated. Kind regards, Jannek PS: All white/grey areas of the backdrop (not the logo) are with transparency... looks better in PinballX than in the preview pic. Bat_Underlay.xcf
  11. Hey PcTeknic, Great idea to add more and great work as well! Is it possible for you to upload a template as well? Maybe a GIMP template? Many thanks in advance... Kind regards, Jannek
  12. Hello Tom, please forget about my issue. I guess this was a wrong alert... It does not happen anymore. Maybe my "problem" was another small thing regarding my update to Windows 10. I´m really sorry for wasting your time. Nevertheless - many thanks for your support and again: I´m sorry for bothering you. Kind regards, Jannek
  13. Hey Tom, yes, indeed, I know (and use) the command line support. But unfortunatly I´ve encountered that the strange behavior (e.g. automatically choosing a ball on Avengers table) reappeared. I thought that - once again - the "wait for = -1" setting might help with this issue. Many thanks again and kind regards, Jannek
  14. Hello Dup3d, is your file still available at any place? Following your link it follows to a location where it is stated that the file has been deleted. The plugin sound very interesting to me... Kind regards, Jannek
  15. Hello Tom, hello Draco, hello all others, I´ve just encountered that the "old" issue with Pinball FX2 is back (which was already solved by Tom). Here is the link to the former post: In the latest Version of PinballX it is not possible to set the "Wait for" entry to "-1" anymore. But this is necessary to avoid unwanted key strokes (and therefore to avoid unwanted Input). For example: if you start the "Avengers" table, the game Shows a few seconds of the intro, automatically launches a new game and also automatically chooses a first ball for you. Is it possible for you to include the "Wait for = -1" option again (with low effort)? Many thanks in advance and best regards, Jannek
  16. Many thanks, Terry!
  17. Hello everybody, yesterday I´ve read that "DOF R3 beta" supports PinballX. It is stated that DOF supports color changing of the RGB-Strip randomly or table-related. Does anybody know how this works? Is there any information about how to set it up available? Many thanks for your answers. Kind regards, Jannek
  18. Quick and dirty for my missing ones. Feel free to upload and/or improve. 19. Hey Draco, thanks for that awesome Information! I wasn´t aware of this.
  20. Hey gStAv, I don´t have a GamEx account. Therefore I provided those files to enable you to upload the files to GamEx and Dropbox. That was my intention. I will immedeatly have a look at the new Uploads (as well for the normalized Versions)! Thanks in advance. Regarding Memory Lane and Hulk: I will see if it is possible to fetch a characteristic "tingeling" with Audacity as a Launch Audio. I will come back with this. Kind regards, Jannek
  21. Hey gStAv, I would like to thank you soooo much. This really helped me to complete my launch files (at least almost). To support the community as well I would like to share some few additional launch audios (and some alternative versions). I´ve done my best to match your naming convention. In Addition to that I will attach a short list of the few launch audios I´m missing. Maybe somebody may help with those as well. Again: many thanks for sharing! 22. Many thanks for your words. But to be honest those images are just a collection of images already available in the internet (sometimes with slight adjustments like cropping to fit the images to match the the portrait view). So, no need for more flowers anymore. Kind regards, Jannek
  23. Third and last part. I have additional Images in "Exit Images" and - for sure - a Startup Image. Kind regards, Jannek
