  1. Hi RedDog, Thank you for your reply and efforts so far. I can confirm that your findings seem to match mine… Case 1: Videos shorter than two minutes hang on the final frame. The next MAME game can be heard playing in the background. Once the two minutes has expired a video will play again and hang on the final frame. Repeat etc… Case 2: Videos longer than two minutes will play their full length and hang on the final frame. The next MAME game can be heard playing in the background. Once the two minutes has expired a video will play again and hang on the final frame. Repeat etc… Originally, my videos were 2m 30s long with a fade-in and fade-out. I have removed the fades and experimented with videos of 1m 30s and 2m exactly. Same results as above. It does seem that the videos are stealing focus from MAME as well as not timing-out to match the attract mode config. New log file attached as requested (purely attract mode - no games launched). Thanks again for your help. Maybe this is one for Tom??? log.txt
  2. Hi, I have a small problem with the attract mode on my setup. I have it running perfectly with MAME games; after 60 seconds, attract mode kicks in and selects a random game from my favourites and runs it for two minutes, selects new random game , runs it etc. etc. Works perfectly. However, I want to include some gameplay videos (of Steam games) in the attract mode. I have put two videos in the folder for experimentation. The attract mode will kick in after 60 seconds as usual and GameEX will run a MAME game for two minutes. A video will then play (as expected) for two minutes but, once it's over, the screen remains black. The next random MAME game can be heard running but I have a black screen. Possible focus issue? Any help, much appreciated. Thank you. Log and .ini files attached. GameEx.ini log.txt
  3. Correct! Quote is about eleven seconds in... Over to you Sir...
  4. Hmm, looks like you may need a clue (which is pretty difficult without giving it away entirely). Anyway , here goes: It was revolutionary in its day, with unparalleled graphics and sound. Also (as a side-note, which won't help you whatsoever(!)), back in the day I was the first kid to complete this on 'Hard' at my local arade. Drew quite a crowd, I can tell you!
  5. Again, sorry but no.
  6. Sweet, thanks for the star! Here you are then... "Earthlings must surrender to me!"
  7. Sounds like 'Ridge Racer' ???
  8. Same issue for me too; it'll get fixed soon enough, I have no doubt. In the meantime, I can just unplug the network cable...

  14. Sorted it. Running from the command line, the ROMs need to be in the root directory of Supermodel itself.
  15. Hi all, I'm trying to get Supermodel to work via the command line (before attempting to implement it into GameEx) but I cannot get it to load ROMs. It works fine if I use the Supermodel Loader executable. I am using Daytona 2 as an example. Loads fine from Supermodel Loader but not from the command line. Please see attached error message. Can anyone please advise? Thanks.
  16. You made it up? What sort of BS is this???
