  1. Thanks RockyR! That explains why I'm not getting anywhere hehehe Cheers for the link too.
  2. Hi, Please can anyone help me with getting Zeb's 'All-in-One' kit (http://www.zebsboards.com) which works using DirectOutput, working with Future Pinball? I have the plunger and nudge board working okay but cannot get lights and solenoids etc. to work. I'm testing with Attack from Mars as I've seen a YouTube video of that working with lights, flashers etc. on Future Pinball. I've tried putting the 'directoutput' folder in... C:\Games\Future Pinball C:\Games\Future Pinball\plugins C:\Games\Future Pinball\BAM\plugins ...but none of these locations seem to work. Everything works fine with Visual Pinball but Future Pinball has me stumped. Any help, greatly appreciated! Many Thanks! (I appreciate that this is not PinballX specific, but I didn't know where else to post it.)
  3. Bagged by Draco1962! Enjoy...
  4. HI Guys, I picked up a new graphics card the other day and it came with the following promotion: Neither of these types of games are really 'my thing' so I was wondering if anyone on these forums would like to have the promo? I don't want anything for it; I'm happy enough to give something back for the help I have received here. So, free to a good home to the first one of you to PM me . (I will then send you the link and code)
  5. Thanks Draco. I am just starting out adding Pinball FX2 tables (only two tables at present) and I am indeed using the [TABLEFILE] method you linked to. Thanks for clarifying though...
  6. As a newbie to Pinball FX2 and Pinball X, what are the 'grid position' values for please?
  7. ^^^This. What a dope; I hadn't installed the plugin <smacks head> Now working as expected... Thanks for the help Lizard.
  8. Yes, I know . I have LEDBlinky in my videogame cabinet as well and I'm wanting to use the same animiations in my pinball cab.
  9. Hi Guys, I'm having an issue getting LEDBlinky to run with PinballX. I have installed LEDBlinky in the PinballX/Plugins directory and have set the options in LEDBlinkyConfig.exe to reflect PinballX (screenshot attached). It's supposed to run a small animation upon loading the front end but nothing is happening. The animation runs fine within the LEDBlinkyAnimationEditor. I don't think LEDBlinky is being called its log file shows no activity (I have set 'Enable Debug Log'). I got LEDBlinky running with little issue on my videogame cab (running GameEX) but I'm really struggling here! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Screenshots and log files attached. Thank you... log.txt PinballX.ini
  10. I can confirm that with version 14.34, the log file is now being written. Problem solved. Thanks.
  11. Unfortunately not . The log file got deleted after I ran GameEx to (if that's significant?)
  12. Hmm, was hoping that the latest build would restore my log file but... no dice Any suggestions please?
  13. Hi Draco, GameEx is set to run as an Administrator. I'm pretty sure it was fine until the latest update. The files in the LOG folder now are: GameExOnlineLog.txt LogArtWorkDownload.txt SetupWizard.txt ThemeEditor.txt
  14. Where has my log file (log.txt) gone since the last update? It used to live here: C:\GameEx\LOG But, since the update, it's not getting written. Am I missing something here?! (I'd include my log file but, well... ) GameEx.ini
  15. Once again, another minor issue sorted! Thanks for your help Draco and NP I converted the .flv's to mp4's and all is well. I bought a lifetime version of Convert-It too.
  16. I didn't, but I can try it this evening.
  17. No worries. I have no issue supporting Tom and Spesoft. It'll be handy to have. I'll download it when I get home from work and convert those .flv files and report back. Thanks!
  18. Hi NP, First, thanks again for the help! No, the .flv files don't open natively. When I double-click them, Windows Movie Maker opens but it can't read them. I was also wondering if the file format may be an issue. As a Lifetime Member of GameEx, do I also get access to the full Convert-It suite too?
  19. Hi all, Okay then, I have Steam integration partially working. The games are loading and exiting cleanly via GameEx, so no issues there. My problem is that I cannot get any artwork or videos to display when I browse my list of Steam games. As far as I'm aware, GameEx automatically downloads media for Steam games? There are snaps and videos in the following folders, so I guess it must (I didn't download them!): C:\GameEx\MEDIA\STEAM\BOX C:\GameEx\MEDIA\STEAM\SNAP C:\GameEx\MEDIA\STEAM\VIDEO The files in these folders have the filenames consisting of the AppID for each respective game. The images are .jpg and the videos .flv Soooo, these files have been downloaded (which is great btw) but why aren't they displaying in my Steam list??? Any help, much appreciated... Thanks. log.txt GameEx.ini
  20. Sorted! Thank you for the heads-up about that app nullPointer and (of course) thank you Adultery for making it available! I set it to delay for ten seconds and it works perfectly
  21. Hello, I want GameEx to start automatically when I boot the PC in my cab. A shortcut to it is in the startup folder (Win 7 here, 64 bit) and it does indeed launch on startup as expected. Trouble is, I get a black screen. GameEx is running (I can hear the sound effects etc. when I use the joystick to scroll through the list) but no picture. I suspect that something is stealing its 'focus'. Is there an easy way to delay the start of GameEx (say, by a few seconds) to give whatever it is stealing focus a chance to finish? Can I add anything in the GameEx options to achieve this effect? Thanks...
  22. Success! Thank you for your help Gents. I have finally got them working. The problem was that if I messed up the command line options and then tried to launch a laser game, GameEX would simply hang and I'd have to close it via Task Manager. Then I'd try another variation of command line and try again. Same result. Repeat over and over etc. It seems that simply closing down (and then re-opening) the crashed GameEx wasn't enough; I needed a full system restart to clear the issue. Once the system had restarted, I was able to get the command line options correct and actually get the games to run. So, all the attempts after the first GameEX crash were futile without a restart! No wonder I wasn't getting anywhere...
  23. I don't think GameEX is successfully calling daphne.exe. When I run daphne.exe outside of GameEX (with no parameters), I get the attached error message and daphne_log.text gets updated accordingly. This is expected behaviour. I have, after all, tried to run daphne.exe with no game parameters! However, if I try to run daphne.exe through GameEX (again, with no parameters), I don't get that error message and the daphne_log.txt file doesn't get written to. This is leading me to think that daphne.exe isn't getting called from within GameEX. I really would appreciate some more help here guys, particularly from a dev if possible because this is weird. log.txt GameEx.ini
