  1. Mine works correctly now. Had my exit button mapped to escape, which is fine, but in Pinballx, I had exit and exit emulator mapped under joystick as well as keyboard. It was doing something weird. I removed the joystick mapping and it started working. Also had a mistake in my PBFX2 list of games, portal was on there twice. Everything is back to normal and I've got 117 games. Need Antman DLC+artwork in PBFX2 as well as Artwork for 5 games from Season 4 of TPA (Have the DLC). I think that'll put me at 118 pinball tables between TPA and FX2. Also recently got the new x360ce and used axis to button mapped so I can use nudge. Its VERY rough, since its a digital nudge with an analog sensor, but it is kinda nice to have that effect in the game. Need to set sensitivity low, so it doesn't TILT.
  2. Thought mine stopped working, but PBX when I upgraded, mapped my joystick key to exit/exit emulator. I already had that mapped to a keyboard key "esc", so it did some funky things. Works now.
  3. My main issue is that pinballx quits all the way. Still need to mess with it tonight some.
  4. Mine launches ok for all tables but exit no longer works. When I hit escape, pinballx quits completely and PBA or FX2 minimizes. Sounds like the game loses focus? Sometimes it works, most times it does not. Happened after some recent updates on PBA and FX2. Older pinballx versions seem to have the same issue. Will try 1.93 that I started with.
  5. NukePA stopped working correctly now that Season 5 is out and on the main menu. Any update?
  6. Mine worked by doing the following (and I have a hunch this should work for everyone): Set desktop to vertical/portrait Edit the pinballx ini file so that the width is 1080 and the height is 1920 Set pinball x to desktop mode Flip all of the images for the tables to vertical
  7. Do you have the media for the two new tables yet?
  8. I can assist in getting the devs more info on the issue if they need it. Would be nice to have it integrated, than have to have a workaround. Totally willing to help.
  9. Set the screen delay higher to like 2000 and your move delay to like 40. Higher won't hurt anything. See if it works then back down.
  10. Pinball fx2 won't allow you to launch that way by telling it a tablefile to launch. You'll need either an AHK of your own to launch, or as mentioned above, use Nukelauncher. I use nukelauncher and it worked pretty much first time. Its basically a macro that runs to select the right table.
  11. I had that too. The issue was that my exit key needed to be set up correctly. I map my exit for pinballx to be esc, but I need to set esc as exit within nukelauncher. The issue was, nukelauncher wouldn't know to close the game, but pinballx would think it was exited and gain focus. The game went to the background and never closed.... and pinballx would not know this and try to start it again. As far as the config file, post your nukelauncher.ini file.
  12. Draco and Carny, Granted, a large portion of the user base is desktop, but many users of pinballx use the main screen in portrait mode for their pinball cabinet. My desktop is in Portrait so I don't have to rotate my head sideways when navigating my desktop or constantly have to rotate the display with a key-press. I just run everything in portrait. Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with what application I'm launching, as I can get all of my games to launch and run in portrait mode without having issues. This issue is this: Within pinballx setup, there's an option to run horizontal, 90 or 270. When I set windows7 desktop to portrait, and in pinballx I set to horizontal, pinballx doesn't render any of the table images as expected, they're squished sideways. The same thing happens with videos. I would expect that if I set to portrait within Windows7, that pinballx would render all images and all videos to fit the full screen. Instead of rendering them full screen, they look like the attached image. I CAN get around this by faking out pinballx within the ini, by rotating all of my media and setting the following: windowwidth=1080windowheight=1920
  13. I flipped my screen to portrait in Windows and that made my new resolution 1080x1920 and I set that as the resolution within the ini file. Also helps so I don't have to do weird flipping within nukepa and nukelauncher. I had to rotate all my table images. I haven't flipped all of my table videos yet. attached my pinballx.ini PinballX.ini
  14. So far, and I have no idea why this isn't build into pinballx when it's widely used in cabinets, but pinballx doesn't want to run in vertical mode if you have your desktop as portrait. I got mine working after a lot of work by manually editing my pinballx Config file. I couldn't do it within pinballx setup. The images would always show up squished sideways so they were thin. It's a bug imho. Not sure why you'd want to run a cab in landscape.
  15. How the heck do you guys set the different controls in tpa? I can't set nudge or plunger for the life of me. It won't register the plunger with or without x360ce. I can't do tilt without unmounting my sensor. Really wish you could scroll through the options like in fx2.
  16. Great meeting you last night Jeff! My cabinet is yours to test on for future releases. Enjoy the iPac.
  17. My setup: 40", 28" and a 15" for the DMD Intel i5 4690K quad core, 3.5GHz 8GB RAM 128GB Toshiba SSD EVGA GTX 660 Superclocked Signature 2, 2GB VirtuaPin Digital Plunger kit V2 Software: Windows 7 pro, 64bit Pinballx Nukelauncher FX2 Nukelauncher PBA xpadder x360ce Pinball FX2 (steam) Pinball Arcade (steam) I set up xpadder to emulate all of my button and x360ce mapped for nudge and plunger controls. I have 4 menu buttons on the front of the cab and two flippers. Mappings: - two flipper buttons mapped to right and left shift - top menu button mapped to keyboard key ENTER - second menu button mapped to keyboard key B - third menu button mapped to keyboard key X - bottom menu button mapped to keyboard key ESC In nukelauncher, esc is set to exit table. In pinball x, esc is mapped to exit emulator and exit pinballx. I have my pinballx mapped only to keyboard inputs and use the R/L shift, ENTER, B, X and ESC keys in pinballx. I set the same buttons up in FX2 and PBA. Keyboard emulation works perfectly and everything exits correctly. I'm just having some issues with FX2 and PBA with the plunger, but thats just a work in progress. FX2 doesn't register the really fast plunger release, and PBA has proved impossible to set up to a joystick axis.
  18. I gotta thank you for all of the help Jeff. You've done so much for all of us with PBFX2 and PBA to get it working. I do really appreciate it. I've had so much fun playing on my cabinet. I hope that you'll be able to build your own cabinet soon. Hell, maybe others on the forum have parts laying around. Great artwork too.... You HAVE been busy!
  19. Not admin like logged in as admin.... But right click, properties, run as administrator. You still have to give it permission.
  20. What worked: Had to set pinballx to fullscreen, and set fullscreen windowed to "yes". I had mistakenly thought it had to be set in PBA config. I'm working, but it was a bit of a PITA to figure out.
  21. Tried that too.... Only thing I haven't tried is a complete restart after fully configuring things in PBA and PBX.
  22. My screen needs to be 90 for nukePA and 270 for pinballx..... the bottom of my TV (like quite a few people) is to the left of my cabinet. 270 in Pinballx means that it rotates 270 degrees clockwise. 270 in nukepa means it rotates counterclockwise 279 degrees, which is upside down. I Rotated, configured PBA, rotated back, launched PBX and it just locks up. I can exit, but it doesn't ever rotate back. PBA never launches. It DOES work fine via command line. I can launch, play, exit and it rotates into PBA and back the way it was on exit. There's definitely something weird going on between pinballx and nukePA.... but I don't know what it is! If I set pinballx to horizontal, and set nukepa to 0, it works, but its in landscape mode, so unplayable. It only has an issue when rotating.
  23. Sorry, its because I forgot to post last night.... and couldn't post today because I was at work during lunch break when I posted, hoping that I could at least get a head start if I posted my issue. I do use irotate with nvidia GTX 660 and latesr drivers. I did config PBA while rotated. Attached are my ini, xml and the pinballx config file. Pinball Arcade.xmlPinballX.iniNukePA.ini also, check your email, I got the ipac, and its ps2, is that ok?
  24. My ini is basically stock. I only added the tables you listed in season 1 and 2 and the xml you created. Paths are the same since it's steam and pbx. Delays I kept stock. It won't even load pinball arcade.... It just hangs after selecting and attempting to launch within pinballx. But if I try to rotate pinballx so it's horizontal everything works horizon, but it's unplayable sideways. There's something weird with flipping. Time999, Is your computer set to load pinballx in horizontal mode?
