  1. You want to record the virtual dmd at 128x32 pixels since that is what PIN2DMD size is There are also real dmd videos available on the PinballX ftp site
  2. Share a link to the VP9 AFM version you downloaded. All the FS VP9 tables were created with Windows set to Landscape mode. You can try opening the table. click on Backdrop and then in the Backdrop Options/Color&Formatting, change XY rotation to 270. If you need more help on tweaking this then its best to ask on the vp forums
  3. Did you put the fx2 media also in the visual pinball media folder?
  4. +1 for any ability to have Start table button and separate Menu support. Either short and long press or 2 separate button assignments
  5. I would not want it to loop but I can understand why some might. While browsing if I stay on a table long enough for the audio clip to end that means I havewalked away from the cab
  6. Pinballx settings. Disable "auto position DMD"
  7. You could try setting the backglass height and width to 1x1 so it won't really be visible Now that there is an extra monitor, topper, supported, you might be able to do what you are trying to do. Set Backglass monitor to you #2 monitor in your diagram and the topper monitor as #3 in your diagram. Use pbxrecorder to record 2 videos each with 1/2 of the backglass being recorded
  8. +1 on a separate launch and menu button support.
  9. +1 I was just thinking about this feature request also Pinballx currently has a toggle setting which supports one or the other, either launch with no menu or launch with menu. I would like to have both options available at the same time. Simple Launch button for guests and the menu button for advanced users
  10. Thanks for adding topper support. Can't wait to try the video support also The is a topper upload section at vpuniverse with probably 100 examples already. Thanks to all who created them I use wheel logos for now for the missing topper images
  11. Did you install the LAV filter codec in the pinballx main page? do table images work?
  12. Not showing when browsing tables or after starting the table from pinballx? Dow the b2s show up if you play table directly from vpx?
  13. if you enabled color for your real dmd, then you probably need to put the videos in the /real dmd color videos folder
  14. VP folks are starting to create Topper images and they look great. Bump for request to add support a 4th monitor and dedicated Topper image/video folders.
  15. Are you using a USB keyboard or a PS2 keyboard. If USB, have you tried another USB port?
  16. I assume "PinballX.exe" is not working for you, but it could be "PinballXLite.exe" if that is what you use
  17. VPX settings are stored separately from VP9. So any button configurations you have done in VP9, you have to repeat them in the VPX Preferences->Keys menu. If you want Esc to exit back to PinballX, you need to disable the Esc button in VPX. Open VPX. got to Preferences->Keys and check the box for "Disable ESC key". Of coarse, you also need to assign Esc as the Pinballx Exit emulator button...
  18. Here is the link to PBX Recorder utility. It will walk through your Pinballx VP xml database and automatically screenshot Playfield, Backglass and DMD images or record videos of them. If you have a GameEx Pass or Online Pass it can also download wheel images automatically. Good luck Demo
  19. With PinballX Settings.exe, you would go to the Other Systems tab and add new Visual Pinball version, like VPX and Physmod5 and set them to System Type = Visual Pinball and the desired exe to run Now you can use the game manager.exe to add tables to those new VPX and Physmod systems. Advanced users can modify the xml file manually and use the <alternateexe> </alternateexe> tag, but then you can not use game manager.exe at all
  20. Based on the log file, I would guess the issue is your future pinball.xml database file. I would look there first
  21. Pinballx can run directb2s when browsing tables. Vp launches directb2s when the table starts so yes you need to set up directb2s outside of pinballx
  22. General troubleshooting In pinballx settings, turn off "Enable File Matching" Make sure the media filenames exactly match the table filename or table description name in the xml file
  23. It's not all known tables but it should be a good start (vp9 physmod5 and vpx) XML.zip
  24. Yes you can play table dmd videos in attract mode All of the videos are on the PinballX FTP site which you have to pay to access. Tom Speirs created the color dmd videos that are available - I don't use them, but I believe they are 1 min videos of the table rom running. There are also black and white videos also available on the FTP. These are edited to show the best parts of the dmd attract mode. I use these currently, with the DMD set to Red color. I may switch over eventually if I get around to editing the color videos You can get some samples of the videos in the original threads http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/17607-real-dmd-color-videos/ http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/14608-real-dmd-support-is-here/?page=1 To get them to work, put them in the vids in one of these folders PinballX\Media\Visual Pinball\Real DMD Color Videos PinballX\Media\Visual Pinball\Real DMD Videos
