Rules are rules, but this rule makes absolutely no sense. If there is 1 or if there is 99 credits in reserve, this shouldn't matter when it's a game like Donkey Kong that doesn't even have continues! It should only apply to games that actually have continues. I would hope the mods would agree with me wholeheartedly here. With the lower levels of partipation lately, I think we should make an addendum to this rule. It is a habit I have when I'm gaming at home on the X. I will pump it with credits. I will try to break that habit asap. We haven't seen or heard from GC and DHP for quite some time, so I will be patient on the decision to accept my run today. M.O.

I'm back folks! The Yolympics2016 was insane, there was a tie for first place this year between Better Off Fred and Verizontal! My team was fifteen shy of the top spot. I woke up this morning with stark determination on getting a better score on the Ol classic DK. Well, MO was on fire today as his first five levels were cleared without the loss of a life. Things kind of fell apart after that, but I tell ya, I felt like a champion when I looked up at the score and saw me getting ever so much closer to 200k!! I fell short of my goal, but am very happy to sneak into second behind my brother. 197,800

Haha. I remember playing this at the resort we were staying at on vacation when I was only 12. Man, it seemed so much tougher than PacMan, which it definitely is.

I joined in March of 2014 and I haven't looked back since. Being able to give it your best honest go at a game and then pitting it against the world via screenshot of score/initials has no choice but be exciting. If you have a look at the Leaderboard, the lower scorers have "come and gone" quickly. That is another thing GameEx is about. It suits everyone anytime. Entertainment to the nines. I've been getting my ars whipped at the Yolympics2016 tournament. 35th out of 71 currently. I'll be posting more after March 1st. The team I am on, True Champions, is currently in 1st by a margin of 81 points!! M.O.

I agree. Donkey Kong is a definite masterpiece that can be truly mastered by very few people in this world. It's fun for sure.

Hey Guys! I joined in March of 2014 and I have had an absolute blast here at GameEx!! I have spent most of my time in the Top players shadow, feverishly chasing that ever so elusive Top Spot on the Leaderboard. I still am nowhere close, and I have a better chance getting hit by lightning than passing him. With players like EE and KRC, along with GC and Dazz, HS77, RTKI3, Cynicaster, YJ and a few others, I think we're strong enough to run a competition. Unfortunately, not all of these fellas have been around much, but who knows. They could be back. The layout is original and could provide a ton of friendly competition. With the proper amount of partipation, the GOTM is awesome because it keeps things updated and it doesn't get stale. As for suggestions, could we wipe the boards clean and archive the scores for each game, the top 3 or 4 spots? Start over on the Leaderboard too. That might work, but it might not work too, I am not sure. Whatever it takes to keep this great site going, I am in.

Man, I don't know how this game made any money. I made it to the 14th board on one credit on this run. That equates to about 30 minutes of playtime. They hand out too many powerups, IMO. You can't help but notice that there are far fewer powerups in 1944. Despite the lack of difficulty, 1943; The Battle of Midway is still loads of fun to play!! 2,490,810 PS. Board 16 is a definite exception. It is extremely difficult, almost impossible!!
