Just recently started having a problem in GameEx where the SECOND time I run an emulator other than MAME (Stella, NullDC,MisfitMAME, etc) GameEx stops working and takes me out to the Windows desktop. GameEx version is 11.13. Just like most, I tinker alot with settings but it's happening in all my emulators on the SECOND time I use it. Log File attached. Thanks. log.txt
Act Labs Guns. Guns work in windows 7 64 bit just fine but not mame64. unlike in Mame32 where you can configure the x & y axis, cant seem to do it in mame64.
Since it's so slow I'm hoping someone might me able to help me with a topic that I haven't been able to solve. I'm running Windows 7 & Mame64 but have to use mame32 to run my light gun games (Fortunately, Gameex supports using two versions!!!) as I can't configure the light guns to work in Mame64. I would like to only have to run the one version and the 64 bit would be faster for some of the games that really tax the computer. So the question is, does anyone use Mame64 with light guns? Thanks,
Just wondering if anyone else is using MAMEUI64 and has been able to get light guns to work. Fortuntately, I'm using the the Gameex MAME Emu Mapping feature allowing multiple version of MAME. I use an older version of MAME for themost of the light gun games but the newer version of MAME offers some addtional gun games that I cant run on the older version. BTW, my light guns are Act Labs versions.
that doesnt seem to be the problem. The screen goes blank but the sounds continues in the emulator. This is only happening in NullDC within gameex. Only process running are hide os & nulldc. When I end nulldc thru task manager it goes back to the gameex screen but the titel screen says "in game" and there's an option for record video.
Just loaded nulldc into gameex and I'm having a strange problem. My Slikstik quad player four up direction (which is "L"), hangs up nullcd (&gameex) when used through gameex. It works fine outside of Gameex and the player four up button has no effect. I don't belive I have the "L" mapped for anything in nulldc. Anyone experiencing similar issues?
Attached is a confi log. Again, thanks for the assistance. If I don't need to use the loader. That's fine. Just don't know how to make gameex pick the cdi file. I'm thinking maybe my Rompath is wrong.
The one on the gameex website under wrapper & utilities section : NullDC Loader 1.1 A GameEx/Launcher wrapper for the NullDC emulator. 5/8/2008 When you say my config, do you mean the settings on when the emulator under gameex configuration?
Just wondering if anyone has a sample config for seting up nulldc 1.6 in gameex. I tried installing the loader on the gammex website but can't get it to work. I'm using windows 7 64 bit but i'm sure it's my setup that the problem. I can run nulldc outside of gameex. Any help would be appreciated.
Love to look at the GameEx live. I notice some systems show the panel screen shot & flyers and some just show screen shots. Is there a setup function or how does this portion of GameEx work?
i was wondering if it's possible to run two versions for mame in gameex? I haev mameui64 v136 but am having trouble with some specific roms & gametypes. I still have an earlier version of mameplus32 that runs the particular game and games types (ligh gun) fine. So i guess I would like to run my light gun games in mameplus32 v 118. The other game i'm having issues with is birdie king. The colliison detection doesn't sem to work in mameui64. Appreciate your thoughts on this.
I'm trying to keep the exact same GameEx settings from my previous system. What files do I need to copy to the new system other than Gameex config.ini? Also, am I better using MAMEUI64 or the command line version of MAME? Thanks.
I have .6 version working both in mame & outside but can't get the .9 version working on either; I saw the file download and the mention of clear mame pro? never have down this? Anyone able to shoot me some instruction on what I need to do? Thanks
