OK, I have an odd setup... BG mon is sunken in cab and set to 1080:1370. (First cab posted here...) I upgraded pc an went with win 8.1. Tables load fine in vp but b2s errors in pbx. Mostly on old itchy vp8 tables on match an game over calls etc... I don't remember but can remove and re-install gtx660 in old pc to see exactly where I had these set, I didn't think it mattered... I have mon 1 t-boning mon 2 same table loads fine outside pbx, even just dbl clicking file! Any ideas...?

I'll keep hoping... I do have an older monitor that could be used for marquee but it would be so slick on one. I want(ed) to have the monitor have the typical slant back but have the marquee area of the cabinet not slant, just a couple inches of reveal, if that makes sense...

Hmm... Those aren't the answers I wanted ;( Back when I was first setting up my pin-cab, on a 39" monitor turned vertical, most games (with bezel) seemed really close to original size and aspect. I don't mind wasting a little monitor real estate if I can get the right aspect on games. So no Marquee Magician type app that will put marquee on same monitor??? Bummer! I think the lay option might be for me as this time around I'm just gonna focus on the 150 or so "Golden Age" titles. Same for buttons. Pre-fighter, simple. I'm old. Thanks, I hope one of you think of something quick (or write me some software)

Cool cab! But not what I meant... I want marquee on same monitor as game. I don't want to use all of the screen. That way the original bezel is unchanged. The bottom part of monitor would be unused and hidden behind control panel. Make sense?

Hi, I poked around here a couple years ago but then became fully obsessed with pinball! Now, it's time to get my mame on! Before I spent even more time fumbling around I thought I'd try to get some feedback on the basic Idea... Can I run a 16:9 monitor vertically so it is a 9:16 with mame and game specific bezel in 4:3 in center of monitor and marque at the top of the same monitor? Rather than using 2nd monitor? Before pinball, I had the bezel and game going on the playfield monitor and marquees on 2nd monitor (Marquee Magician, I believe) but I'd like to keep it to 1 monitor. Possible??? Thanks

sorry, wrist slapped... In addition to previously (re-)mentioned, I would like to be setup so that to select a game is a single press of start and a long press of start would open customizable menus/sub-menus. Customizable lists that combine diff systems (combine vp 92, vp 99, fp etc..) Now, I'll shut up

Thanks for appreciating my art! By calling me Simon, you imply the things I draw come true!!! I want the attract mode to have options such as alphabetical and by year. I'd like to be able to check or uncheck or add new options to the lists/navigation. Including an option to just select available videos (I LOVE the PAPA tut's). Stuff like that!

So, more than 85 updates and a year later, I still pine for more menu options/attract mode options. I don't know programming but it doesn't sound that hard.... This is a customizing community!!! LOOK, I even found a perfect piece of real estate for it

Still really, really, really would like to see options for attract mode... alphabetical, chronological and IPDB top 300. Please, please, please! (If it sounds like I'm begging its because I am!)

Here's another list I'd like to make or see on the bar and be able to scroll and select.. the IPDB top 300 em and ss. It would also go nicely with the trivia fact kinda tag idea... Also cool way to scroll through attract mode...

Come on! 1) custom lists 2) custom attract. Carrying boxes of Christmas past the cab yesterday for couple hours and saw Demolition Man 3 times! There's over 600 in main list!!! At 1 min each there should be 10 hours of no repeats. Alphabetical, by year etc... You know you want it...

This is full circle for me! I started this journey learning to build a mame cab. Then I found pinball and planned to make a hybrid. There are several old GameEx posts where I tried to make essentially. .. pinballx! At the time I was going to make a hybrid but fell in love with pinball and didn't like mame on pf or bg. So I made pincab and soon will make mame cab (seperate). These bezels are cool but I think its cooler, and what I want to do is use mame bezels, with Marque Magician. On my 39'' rotated 9:16 the bezel/games are very close to original size. Super cool. At the time, I wanted MM on 2nd mon and was trying to get control panel image in there. Now my plan is to forget cp and move bezel/game to bottom of mon and use MM on top of single mon... thinking about making cab have just a small protrusion for marque so single portrait mon can do both. We'll see!

I did opposite, sorry too! And in 1.7 had same prob. Didnt report because I knew I forgot codecs. Got swamped in holidays... I will do codec today and see...

Pbx crashed yesterday. It was the first time like that but since we're looking at stuff I thought I'd share... log.txt

I've been on default shark codecs for some time... Are they updated? Should I re-download? I will confirm I'm still on default...

For me there's no crash the vids just stop scrolling. The wheels still spin and you can select the table that the wheel is on.

But the screen grab used to work beautifully!
