It does not...the barcode just gives you a prompt to enter your high score from your phone. Once you enter that and hit submit the score is sent to my iscore database of scores for me to approve/decline. It is just a feature that lets you upload scores without going to the website.

You have to buy it for $20 one time fee. Then it sets up a scoreboard "server" for your scores to be hosted. Mine is https://iscored.info/theoriginal_frostbyt Once setup then people who have the QRCODE can just scan it and it will send a high score request to my scoreboard. Each table has a unique QRcode image file. So I would think the QRCODES would need to be named like the ROM name and all exist in a QRCODE folder...then PBX would goto that folder/file when browsing. But I am not sure how to do that, any guidance on where to start on creating a plugin?

Hey guys, Been awhile since I have been on but stumbled across the utility called iscored. It is essentially a way to track your high scores outside of MAME/VisualPinball. Anyway there is a cool option that allows you to setup highscore boards and link them to a QR code. So if someone has the QRcode they can scan it and enter in their High Score for a specific game. I am trying to figure out a good way to incorporate these QR codes in PinballX. I am using the "Flyer" option currently which is fine if someone knows where to go but wanted to see if any of you PinballX pros have a better idea? I know I downloaded a plugin years ago that displays high scores from the table when browsing games...thought maybe that would be a good place to start. Maybe have an option to put in the detail box like noted in my screenshot? Thanks for entertaining this weird post

i knew i had this before LOL I just didnt realize it was 6 years ago! Need to test the fix...I was updating PBX and the installer froze and now i need to sort that out

it is all the ones i tested, which is 4 or 5 No compatibilty set for either PBX or VPX. It almost behaves like I click on the mouse somewhere off screen....the logs do not throw an error because the game is still "running" just frozen if you will. If i click my mouse too it resumes play and works until i go to another table. But table never freezes again, unless i quit table and select it again in PBX. Damn i wish I could remember what the issue was.

Been a long time since I have been on this forum but I am almost positive I have posted this before...but I cannot find the post.(I did look) When I fire up a table in PBX the table loads fine and I can start playing be a couple seconds in(varys) the table will freeze. All I have to do it hit ALT Tab and the game starts again. So something process wise seems to be getting in the way. I test the same tables in VPX outside of PBX and no freezing happens. I am positive this was a simple fix but this 46 year old brain just doesn't remember. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Rich

I need BG and PFs and it looks like a good chunk of the tables I needed at least had a image for BG, so all square there but not for play field. Normally i creat my own for the VPX tables with a tool someone made but cannot use that for the PBFX tables. I'll see what i can do. thanks again for all your help.

Nevermind, updated PinballX to the latest version from July 2021 and now the plugins appear. Thanks for your work on this!

Just saw this cool plug-in. Does it work with Windows 7? Because I have downloaded two of your plugins(clock is the other but not listed in my screenshot because I took it earlier) and neither show up in my plugins list. I did have to unblock but no luck. Restarted PC as well after I enabled the .dll same result.

Then I saw your message and you said check "Settings" I looks all over that window and found nothing. Checked instructions in root folder...and finally found the icon staring right in front of me Thanks- Mike! Using the GameEx online stuff because I do not know any mega sites with this info Butt GameEx videos for Pinball FX are fly through of the table and I just want the in game table video or image.

I looked around and I see where I can create my videos(which i do for VPX tables) but I do not see anything to Download. What am i missing?

I did not know DB manager was a thing. DLed and figured out with the duplicate video was. I cleared those out! Now to find some good table BG videos for some PBFX tables.

I have some table videos that were flipped the wrong direction that I downloaded. I have fixed those video files but when Pinball X is on those tables it still shows the flipped version. I have went as far and removing the table from the DB, checking Game List manager and moving the files out of the media folder they were in. But when I add the table back via the xml editor and launch PinballX the wheel and incorrect table video shows in the menu without me even changing anything in Game List Manager. These are Pinball FX3 tables that is why I add via the xml editor. Is there a second temp location that stores these files that I am not aware of? I hope this made sense.

Are you doing Pinball X or Pinball Fx3?

I am trying out the HS thing now. I enabled GameEx online in Arcade and turned off privacy...we'll see what it does. Played a game of "Bank Panic" - 70k+ - I am not usre if it is a quick update or if the DB updates once a day. Thanks for all your work on GameEx...I love the product.

I love the flashyness of the arcade version but man I love the stats that you get with GameEx arcade...i know it is cheesy but it makes we want to put GameEx back on my main cab. But I thought..."Wait why don;t I just put both on." Full Version for me and Arcade version for when I have guests over. Can they exists ion the same OS - Windows 7? I would think as long as I put the install path in a different area it should not matter. But just want to make sure. Thanks, Rich

I checked there and I do not see any path locations to change for various emulators in GameEx. On different FEs to use. It is just a minor thing...but might just end up getting rid of custom lists anyone...not sure I even use them anymore LOL

The fact that even the control panel shows the right buttons just before the game loads in the custom lists seems like the controls are correct. Not sure why LED Blinky is not seeing the same.
