  1. How could I be so stupid... ...Thanks Draco. That was a quick fix
  2. Hello guys ! I'm trying to setup Steam and I am running into a weird kind of problem: When I'm not using custom menu's I get two steam menu options under Emulated games: Steam and Steam Games. When I select Steam Games I can actually select and play a game. Menu option Steam is showing some weird "appmanifest..." files. I did a search for Steam Games but I can't seem to find it anywhere (logs / ini attached) When I use custom menu's I've one steam menu option which is called "Steam" and I can select and play a game. Any idea's how to solve this ? Thanks GameEx.ini log.txt
  3. First of all > what an amazing theme this is !! I've said it before but great work Krakerman Question... I'm trying to make use of the different system themes you've created. Up until now I've not been able to get the Steam theme and GameEx Hi-Score competition theme to work. Steam I use the integrated Steam setup. No seperate emulator. When I select Steam the default GameroomEx theme is showing. Mame - GameEx Hi-score Competition I'm using custom menus and have created a custom mame list called "GameEx Hi-Score Competition" which is the same name as the theme file you've created...GameEx is showing the Mame theme you have created instead of the hi-score theme when selecting the hi-score gamelist. What is it I am doing wrong ...? Files are attached. Any help is appreciated GameEx.ini CustomMenu.ini log.txt
  4. Thank you Darren for this guide !! Very well written and easy to follow. Creating these custom game lists was exactly what I was trying to achieve Thank you for your help and sharing this guide with the community !! ~ GC
  5. ...and now back to GameEx and the hi-score contests ...life goes on....it's too bad, it was a close match. Penalties is always 50/50 and this time we've lost. That's sport !!

  7. ...no Krul to save the day this time...I can't hardly watch anymore...
  8. Omg penalties again !!
  9. Phew....that was close !!
  10. .....it's a close match....so tense ahhhhh....30 minutes extra....huntelaar will score 1-0
  11. Thanks Darren ! I'm so excited for the upcoming match. The quarter final against Costa Rica was already a thriller with an amazing penalty series. (Long live Krul !!) Netherlands vs Germany would be amazing indeed. It would be our (...yeah, I'm Dutch ) fourth final. About time to win the cup ! We've lost a final against Germany (1974), Argentina (1978) and Spain (2010). We've already beaten Spain. The ultimate revenge would be to defeat Argentina tonight and Germany in the Final

  23. Hello everyone ! All rules, info, games and settings seem to be a bit scattered through all the pages of this thread. So, I felt the need to combine all the replies and write a summary. I think this pretty much covers everything. @ Wolf > If you want to copy / paste this info to post # 1, please be my guest ~ GC ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TABLE OF CONTENTS - Internet Gaming Bash of the Year July 1st - August 5th 1. Contest rules 2. Submitting your score 3. Scoreboard (explanation) 4. Games 5. Teams --------------------------------------------- 1. Contest rules a. Please submit early and often and do not hold on to scores. Submissions are for games played within the contest time frame. Please submit early and often so we may maintain an up to date, live as possible scoreboard. Please do not hold on to scores. If you have any score related problems, please contact Wolf c. All games must be completed and submissions received no later than 11:59PM Eastern Standard Time on August 5th. Any scores submitted after this time will not be valid. Please do not send these files to us unless requested e. Joining this contest Players not already registered on a site are no longer eligible to play. Existing site members may join IGB Contest Revision: As of July 8th (one week into a five week contest) no new player additions will be added for any team. This is a revision from "existing site members" may join at any time. this was supposed to be a rule but we never caught during review As a reminder, this is an honor system tournament. Play accordingly and with generally acceptable rules in mind. If in doubt as to what is and is not legal, ask. Sites are encouraged to ensure that their player submissions are in line with player capabilities. 2. Submitting your score Players should submit their scores via this Google Form. [GameEx form] Players will need to submit scores via this form for the score to be validated, otherwise expect a day turn-around to see the score updated. Please submit early and often so we may maintain an up to date, live as possible scoreboard. Please do not hold on to scores. 3. Scoreboard (explanation) Your Team's top five high scores (best score per player) on each game will earn you points for the contest Leaderboard. These top five qualifying scores are now ranked against the other sites top five high scores. Team score is based on a rank tally with the lowest score tally earning your team the best Leaderboard position. Should a team fail to submit five scores on particular game, missing submissions will automatically receive last place rank. Last place rank with three teams would be 15. *** Contest Scoreboard - please click here *** [we thank TodayIsForgotten for this amazing scoreboard !] Example - 19XX: 1 point - 2,000,000 - submission 1 site a 2 points - 1,800,000 - sub 1 site c 3 points - 1,700,000 - sub 2 site a 4 points - 1,600,000 - sub 3 site a 5 points - 1,500,000 - sub 4 site a 6 points - 600,000 - sub 5 site a 7 points - 550,000 - sub 2 site c 8 points - 500,000 - sub 3 site c 9 points - 450,000 - sub 1 site b 10 points - 400,000 - sub 4 site c 11 points - 350,000 - sub 5 site c 12 points - 300,000 - sub 2 site b 13 points - 250,000 - sub 3 site b 14 points - 200,000 - sub 4 site b 15 points- 150,000 - sub 5 site b Site A received points for 1st place, 3, 4, 5 and 6th place for a total of 19 points. 24. Nice score smario Sharing snapshots makes it more fun to watch the progress of Team GameEx. Thanks man
  25. @ Wolf / TiF or anybody who cares to explain I am a bit confused about the scoreboard. If you don't submit a hi-score you'll automatically receive last place rank which equals 30 points (6 teams x 5 submission) The scoreboard still has to be updated with our submissions. Right now the scoreboard assumes we have no hi-scores submitted. Doesn't this mean we should have > 30 points x 5 hi-score submissions per game x 24 games = 3,600 points. We now have something like 1871 points ? Maybe I'm just too tired today to understand... ...anybody cares to explain ?
