  1. The easy way to find the selected item is in the registry. Its updated every few seconds. Local_Machine\Software\GameEx\LCD
  2. Sorry, can you just confirm it was the patch that fixed this or not?
  3. Log
  4. OK WindDVD codec is buggy. I may remove support for previewing DVDs due to this, but by default FFDSHOW does not decode MPEG2 so if you turn that on, I suspect everythin will work great. Can I See the log?
  5. Is that the full log? ie as far as GameEx gets? Also is GameEx registered? Can you try the attached. GameEx.7z
  6. What DVD Codecs are you using?
  7. Yeah, with Frequencys help I was able to get it very quick. Looks like just a few seconds in your log.
  8. I did want to do that but the Start Menu is crazy busy now. Im probably going to create sub folders for it in the next release, then Ill see what I can do.
  9. Its basically set to recache on "certain" updates. Once it sets the flag its done it wont do it again, unless I need another update to recache again then I add another new flag setting to check and set. I think Ive got it all working pretty good now, so that wont be likely. Cheers.
  10. Ive discovered this problem is "probably" solved by setting the desktop resolution to what you want to run GameEx at, and telling GameEx not to set the resolution. Please try and post back. Thanks. Tom.
  11. Thanks to Headkzae now features an advanced emulator configuration tool which can be accessed from either of the configuration utilities. It makes configuring advanced emulator ini files a lot easier and user friendly. Thanks HeadkazeThe advanced configuration utility has been improved slightly to allow more emulator configs and an improved file and folder browseFixes emulators not running in the screensaver when MAME enabledFixes issue with most played listFixes the broken music playlist feature, which is used for just playing a simple playlist throughout GameEx when the jukebox is disabled
  12. Maybe you have a duplicate setting in gameex.ini, as I can see no bug in GameEx.
  13. I doubt this is caused by the latest update, youd be better creating a new topic.
  14. In your case, if its working Id just leave it
  15. Do videos play in WMP?
  16. Full log. Also: Do videos play in WMP? Pretty sure this would be a codec issue.
  17. Also, in my tests freezing was generally down to codecs, so verify what codec is playing the file and what type of file it is. For example the WinDVD 9 codecs are quite buggy.
  18. Try 9.75 when its available in a couple of mins. If not what type of video file is it failing on?
  19. Fantastic. This is fixed in 9.74. Available in about 10. Thanks!
  20. Ben, It seems the new code wont render WMV files. I noticed this the other day, although my original code which we replaced does render them. Im playing around with the graphs, we should be able to fix it. If you play around graph builder yourll see whats happening, its not creating all the filters for WMV it needs a WMV audio and video decoder.
  21. Sorry, I have not had a chance to look at this yet. It works fine for me but I guess its because I am testing on Vista. I need to set up an XP system here to test, I will do as soon as I get a chance.
  22. Your welcome, and Id again like to thank Headkaze for all his help on this (and countless other things). Cheers!
  23. Hey Flash, how does it work with the HD Emumovies? Have not had a chance to test here.
  24. Just to let you know the playlist feature was broken, but Ive fixed it for the next release.
