I did notice you were running interlaced previously at 640x480 30hz. It shouldn't be an issue though.

Not too sure right now. I would try disabling all plugins. It could be lack of RAM but not sure.

I had this problem the other day. I fixed it by putting the bios in \MAME\ROMS. Otherwise you can specify the rom path in the command line.

Hey, Could you please define what you mean by "Crashing"? What exactly happens?

GameEx and GameEx Arcade Edition 14.72 have been released. This release contaiins updates and fixes to the Setup Wizard thanks to GameEx team member Ben Baker. In addition the Setup Wizard no longer runs as administrator. This allows network paths and mapped drives to be selected for path settings more easily. The release adds support for AAE (Another Arcade Emulator) for launching the majority of arcade vector games in place of MAME if desired. The GameEx process is now set as DPI aware fixing windows scaling issues on some setups. Finally this release fixes quite a bad memory leak when displaying video and image previews so an upgrade is highly recommended from the last few versions as this could cause GameEx to crash. In other news I have been playing with the GPD Win and another Cherry Trail Atom CPU based system. GameEx runs very well on these systems. I tested some of the other popular front ends or at least the paid ones and they were pretty much unusuable on these new fanless systems. GameEx Arcade edition and GameEx lite also seemed to be running well with the system that only had 2GB of RAM although it was tested with a version of Windows I had created with NTLITE. The GPD Win is the latest handheld gaming phenomenon and the other cherry trail systems are in my eyes Raspberry PI killers. The Minix Z84-3 is under $200 US and includes a licensed version of Windows 10. In addition ASUS have a PC stick for just over $100. Although the ASUS stick has a slower CPU than the other systems and only 2GB RAM. Still GameEx seemed to run very well on it. In my testing these systems run a lot better at 720P resolution. They both use the same data. All I can think is it is a few obscure games that are not in catver.ini. You could try the latest version.

I'll take a look. Do they show outside of the screen saver?

Hi It won't work. It's gui only as far as I know. Gameex already filters those games anyway. You can also Just compile mame as arcade only with headkazes mame compiler.

We'll look into it. Its likely a bug. For now I would suggest downloading one at a time.

Please try deleting all the .png image files in the GameEx\Data folder. Also a reboot. If not a change of theme. I can also see your running in 4k resolution. That could be something to do with it. Although GameEx has been known to work.

I found it. its the show window controls / allow window resize. If that is off it forces full screen.

What resolution are you running at? It may be that its set in the theme perhaps?

The issue is there is only one person that can answer the trickier questions and that is me. I could only provide a higher level of support if there was a charge per case like how Microsoft does things. Apart from the reason nobody would like it, I don't do it because I can't to be setting up ROMS and tables for people. What issue are you referring to exactly or are you just trying to make some kind of statement? You do realise that no hardware or software business provide one on one support for free anymore? You may get through to India if you are lucky with some of them but I can't afford to operate a call centre and if I did it would still only be me that could really help.
