  1. hmm. I think its something external. Odd that it shows .net version 4 as it runs under 2/3.5. It could be xdmd or something. Again, I am out of the loop on the custom versions.
  2. I'm out of the loop on the customized versions of XDMD out there so it may be worth disabling your real dmd and see if that is causing issues.
  3. I think you got the in game button mapped to the same as your start or credit etc. Like I said the other day sounds like the menu you are seeing is the in game menu,
  4. There is a newer version of Lav out too.
  5. It may not be video related but I don't know right now. Its hard unless I can duplicate it. My cab has issues right now so Ive not been able to do big soak tests but the video rendering got tested a hell of a lot for GameEx and its the same code.
  6. It may not even be to do with videos. There was the move to SlimDX. It may be an issue loading or not disposing an image. I certainly cant get anything to fail here though.
  7. Okay. Thanks. I think it may be just on your system from what I can see. I cant duplicate much here. Anything you can do to nail it down would be good. Certain videos, systems etc.
  8. Do you have to launch tables to make the issue occur?
  9. Looks like a memory leak. I'm looking at it.
  10. The error is my bad. Its fixed in 2.68 available in about 10 minutes.
  11. The details of the hard crash. There may be some more details in the event log or some kind of stack trace. Generally hard crashes are external though and mean codec issues.
  12. Well the delay I don't have an issue with but the hard crash is worrying. Any more info you can provide on that would be helpful.
  13. Thanks. I am guessing any issues will be down to codecs and os choices. Hard to know though when people don't tell me and just roll back to the previous version!
  14. Its basically the same as 2.66.
  15. for starters it tells me how many displays you have and want os you are running. That is pretty useful info to me.
  16. This is just with a single display yes? What kind of PinMAME setup do you have?
  17. Log file? PS: I'm not being a dick but topics like this just are not helpful at all and as the developer of the software and the person who has the responsibility to fix the issue just kind of piss me off. This topic tells me absolutely nothing and gives me no help fixing the issue.
  18. Please welcome our new PinbalX moderator @rablack97 If your recently new he would have likely helped you and now he is officialy a PinballX moderator. Thank you. Tom,
  19. A log would have been useful. Thanks.
  20. Please provide some other logs then. Running PinballX windowed can also give some indication to what is actually going on.
  21. VPauto.exe is not even launching according to your log. Like I said it looks like PinballX is doing absolutely nothing when you launch a table. You should see log entries for what PinballX is launching including VPAuto.exe. It looks like the screen you are referring to is the in game screen which is odd. I think you are mistaken that the backglass etc is loading. I believe this is PinballX loading images. Like I said nothing is launching at all.
  22. Can you please post the log after a session where the issue has actually occurred? Or maybe you did. It looks like you are not actually launching a table. Meaning PinballX did not find a table to launch. This means your paths are wrong or the table file name is wrong. In that log PinballX basically did nothing but shut down the display and initialize it again. Is Bad Cats (Williams ... NN actually the table file name and does it exist in the tables folder you have set? PinballX cant guess your file names and paths. You need to tell it exactly what they are and they need to physically exist.
  23. I believe I have resolved the conflict issues and the DirectX API library has been upgraded to SlimDX again. In addition in this release all video rendering (as in video files) is now hardware accelerated. On modern systems this means 60fps and 4k videos should not be on an issue. On low end systems video playback should not slow anything down and you should get full fps in PinballX. View the full article
