  1. Okay. GameEx looks for the Steam Overlay to check when a game has exited. Not every single game supports the overlay (so won't work) or it may have got turned off.
  2. It looks like its not even launching anything. Is Steam working at all in GameEx?
  3. I tested on all scenarios. I don't have any AMD gear though. I get everything described in this topic if I uninstall LAV codecs. I realise that does not help you though but I just don't know what your issue is at this point. There have been a few users having issues with both GameEx and PinballX with the VMR9 rendering improvements but there really should be no issues that are generic in nature.
  4. Do you have the latest LAV codecs installed? Just so you know videos load much faster on windows 8 and 10 in all versions of pinballx.
  5. I tried the files you supplied. I can only duplicate the issues if I uninstall LAV codecs.
  6. Hi, just saying it does not work for you does not help to fix the issue. We already know a few folks have an issue. Please try to add additional detail and files if you have a problem. Thanks. Tom.
  7. Not sure what your question has to do with this topic but yes.
  8. Its the videos that are important and testing with the latest PBX. I don't need too much else but please test the latest release first when you get a chance. The more you upload the better but I don't have anything private only the FTP. You could always create an archive and encrypt it with a password. If you do that I suggest splitting the archive so you will max out the FTP connection.
  9. Again, if I can get the content to test here it would help immensely. I may have the same issue myself. Then I can fix it.
  10. Your welcome. Unfortunately virtual pinball is not an exact science. It does require some work. I try to make things as seamless and as easy as possible with PinballX. Its the best there is right now but there's just no way to make it easy. I've tried and at times it just adds more complication and sometimes I screw up too! As for load times. We are trying to hide everything that happens when a table loads. All the loading bars, popups, windows switching so things don't look like a PC and when everything is setup right you wouldn't know and it should switch to the table when it is ready to actually play.
  11. I'm not going to give up on it. Again, perhaps you could share the files although I realise bandwidth may be an issue for some. It may be an AMD issue, I'm not sure at this point.
  12. I just wanted to point out that commercial licensing requires a separate license for each machine.
  13. Those particular videos do require codecs and your right that windows media player does not play them but they should work fine if you have codecs installed with GameEx. There should be no issue with them as long as codecs are installed. I really don't know what it could be at this point but can confirm the op was using the same videos. You should post your log anyway though.
  14. The Loading screen will eventually hide and hides automatically if it detects VP has focus. Its not getting focus but if you wait a while the loading screen should hide. Does that happen? What screens are you talking about? Its probably just PinMAME and B2s. You should probably ensure PinMAME is in cabinet mode to avoid issues with VP not getting focuse and you will need to set that then delete the registry entries for the games you have already loaded.
  15. Hi, Are you referring to databases or something else about games not loading? I don't quite understand you. The databases are not an exact science and won't always pick up every game.
  16. No problem. Its not good though as you can't do any updates.
  17. Hi, you can contact me with any licensing questions but your fine generally if the PC's are yours and for your own use. Note you didn't get a response because you posted in the wrong forum. This site covers several different products,
  18. Hi, You can contact me.
  19. The recent releases had some significant rendering changes. It may be due to that rather than your hard disk change,
  20. Hi, I wouldn't say that. We just don't know at this point.
  21. I didn't change anything! Glad it is working though.
  22. I mean your media and databases. . If you want to help me troubleshoot and provide logs etc that would be great. I was trying to say things have changed with the latest release so forget about what worked and didn't in previous releases. Its not relevant. Yes, videos load slower but they play better. Maybe its a cultural difference but I have not pissed you off have I?
  23. I'm sorry too. It may get resolved if others have the same issue. Here is the older version. GameExSetup.zip
  24. Sorry buddy. It may get resolved in time if others have the same issue.
  25. Looks like you have your credit or player 1 start button mapped to the same as the in game key. The error is fixed in 2.70 available in ten minutes but that is your issue. We did try and tell you it was a control issue right at the beginning but sorry I didn't get a chance to look at this topic again since Thursday until now.
