I know its juvenile but I was just watching what was on. This episode is hilarious.

Videos may not work due to display (DirectX conflicts). That is just one of things. If this is specifically a topper issue. I think I need to address something. I will take a look and get back to you or fix it for the next release. It would really help if you could confirm if it just affects toppers or backglass DMD too. You can switch the displays around to be sure. Also be sure be both image and table match the table file name exactly. It may just be one of things due to directx conflicts and its hard to know as you are new and its never worked for you.

I think its just TV's these days trying to help you out and "optimize and make things look nice" on your behalf. Lots of processing goes on in LEDs these days. Also, I guess modern technology allows the card to advise what mode the TV should use. Seems that was what was happening.

Exactly, as Adultery said. Should already be supported. If not please let me know.

I remember a while back when I was working with windows media center. There was an auto brightness or similar setting in the display driver that caused certain channels to appear to flicker. Just a thought. So obviously look at GEFORCE settings.

You just need to install teamviewer and give me the code and password displayed. If I need anything else, I will let you know.

Like I said, I really need unattended access and cant specify a date and time. I may stop and come back to it several times.

I do have something in the works for this (gun/touchscreen/wheel) but its taking me a while. If GameEx doesn't work out for you with this setup please check back.

You wernt the only one to have an issue with the move to VMR 9 but this is a new issue to me. Please understand its always very tricky for the developer unless they can duplicate the issue. VMR 9 allows hardware acceleration of the rendering (not decoding) so its a very good thing considering people now have toppers and 4k displays. I won't be rolling it back. Previously it was using the sample grabber. Both use DirectShow. DirectX 9 use and libraries are unchanged. Although there were some fixes, changes and optimizations to texture/image usage. PS: Happy to try connecting with TeamViewer and trying to troubleshoot if you are willing to provide me unattended access to your cab.

You say you have windows shelled? Is the issue still present when it is not shelled?

Do you have video codecs installed? Lav are the recommended ones here.

Yeah, the video framework changed (to VMR 9) in recent versions which will be the reason for it but I am not sure why you are experiencing this issue right now. So you may have to troubleshoot a bit more yourself. Sorry.

Please provide yout PinballX log and configuration file (pinballx.ini)

I'm not sure on this right now. I did just release 2.86 in which game manager no longer runs as administrator. Please try that. Could you tell me what exactly happens when you try to launch from Game Manager?

Glad you got it sorted. I am not sure why this occurs sometimes. I suspect its because some other GameEx utility or tool is running while the upgrade takes place but I've never seen it myself. Still, a backup is taken on upgrade as you can see.

On another note - I am not an artist so if anyone wants to contribute some better images/videos they are most welcome.

Thanks again for your helpful testing Pablo. Is fixed in 2.86. Available in 10. You are right that is not desired behaviour and does not happen now with 2.86. Also in 2.86 Game Manager no longer requires admin privelages (runs as admin).

Just sharing but this was on UK news this morning. PS: Is that Gollem? Most of us all were bullied at one point or another. Even if it was brief. At least were able to escape from it at home. Not the case now. PS 2: Too much information but I would. lol
