  4. Thanks for reporting. I will have a look shortly. As far I am aware the first item has always been that way with v3 and v4 themes. I can't think of anything that would have changed there. i know without looking it exits populating the menu when there is not a menu to add (empty string). There were some changes to ini reading though. You could have had a blank space there that maybe is trimmed now. That could be the cause of the other issue too.
  5. Thank you. No, it was me! 6.11 will be up in a mo.

  8. Good stuff. They will come out and fit it too if you ask them and compensate.
  9. No worries. if you decide to go with GameEx on the new PC, you are welcome to come back for help. i can see from the screenshot its a bespoke arcades machine. i know them and they are still trading. https://bespoke-arcades.co.uk/ I am pretty certain they will help with anything. Obviously not for free though.
  10. Its mainly a case of things getting old and legacy and also things being updated to work with new software. Both GameEx and MAME are still in very active development. Both are free. If i were you and depending on the power of the PC, i would take the opportunity to update MAME and your games collection. We can't provide details on the latter but you seem to be good enough at doing this stuff. Give it a go!
  11. No guarantees but you could try installing this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25150
  12. If you wanted to start over something like this is enough: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beelink-Lake-N100-Processor-Computer-MINI-S12/dp/B0BZGPTLPG/ref=sr_1_4?sr=8-4&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.d7e5a2de-8759-4da3-993c-d11b6e3d217f
  13. What changed on the machine? I am assuming it is not connected to a network so would not get updates for anything? You could try and ensure GameEx is running as admin which is normally default on windows xp and controlled by the user account. This issue could potentially be caused by anti virus software. Anything installed?
  14. For MAME there is this command line to set which display to launch on: -screen \\DISPLAY1 if that don't do it try -screen \\DISPLAY2
  15. Had a thought. I can maybe try with the theme and plugins. Cheers
  16. Unfortunately I cant duplicate this right now. Sorry. I tried with your gameex.ini and custommenu.ini
  17. Custom menu too please. Ill try and have a look in a minute.

  20. Hi, I realise this is an older post but there is an issue rendering videos on intel 12th gen and beyond with internal graphics. This is addressed in the latest version. There is a setting to use software video rendering under display settings. It seems intel dropped support for vmr 9 in there drivers. PS: The Unity version on windows is also an option if you need 2k or 4k video support. Anything 12th gen or above can handle hd 60fps in software. I tested an n100 last week.
