This is a MUST HAVE application for anyone using Pinball X. It completely modernizes the database interface and makes it much easier and more convenient to use the front end. The app is easy to set up and receives regular updates keeping it current with latest trends and developments. The guys responsible for it @scutters and @Mike_da_Spike are some of the nicest and brightest people in our community, we're lucky to have such talent contributing to our hobby. Many thanks for all you guys do!2 points

I have always loved pinball, grew up with it in the arcades in the 80s, my favourite machines being Black Night and Black Hole, I can`t remember the amount of times I played those machines or how much it cost me But now at the age of 59 I decided late last year that I wanted a virtual pinball machine, I would love an original machine but the cost price is out of reach plus my home is on the small side, so virtual it was, but I wanted a desktop version so I could move it around the home or take it to gatherings for kids to play on. I thought this would be very easy as I have a strong background in electronics, so I built a cab with a 14.5" widescreen display and 8" back glass display, plus all the associated hardware , easy done, now software. I went for Pinup Popper with the "easy" baller installer, and indeed it installed flawlessly, however I could not configure my buttons, always showed an error, posted in forums, posted on YouTube, still no real answers as to the issue, frustrated I looked around the net and found PinballX. Took a chance, downloaded, installed, configured in 10 mins, running perfectly Now playing with the media folders, so may edit this post later with some pictures, so far I`m very impressed it works flawlessly and is very easy to setup. If there is an option to gift a coffee or some dollars I would be happy to do that as I see the project is still being developed. Cheers Alan B2 points

Your PinballX Manager software is on another level. WOW. I opened this software and was absolutely amazed with what this can do. I tried it with one game, Absolute Genius for what it does and the simple interface it offers. It truly is a program that makes my table building better organized and operational. I know I write this after only one table however I do see the power in this tool. Now I have some building to do. Thank you for the privilege of your software. Shiptreked.2 points

@Mike_da_SpikeThis tool helped me fix my PinballX startup issue after upgrading. For some reason, it was not liking my Pinball FX3 media even-though it was working before the upgrade. Thanks for good work. I am manually going through and unchecking some hide flags and I noticed some of the Pinball FX3 Marvel games were not matched correctly. I am going to try to correct them from my backup of my old database but I thought some info to fix it in the next release would be helpful . I will try to send you a message with the details when I have some time to fix the glitches during the holiday break. or point me to a forum topic where others are providing feedback.. Thanks.2 points

As always, scutters improving everything possible. I put here some that I have moved from my previous Company Logos folder to the new one, in case you want to improve and / or add them. Most of them are Spanish. I have even seen that Talleres Llobregat has it renamed and displayed as "(Automaticos)". In Spain they are known as Tallerres Llobregat or Talleres del Llobregat and associated with the terrestrial globe, by Automáticos I have not realized at first, because we do not know by that name.2 points

Been using Pinballx for a number of years managing a collection of about 400 machines. I've always done things manually as I felt it was quicker than using the Pinballx game manager. I decided to try this Database Manager as I wanted something that fully supported the new list features. I gave it a try yesterday and have already found it to be incredibly useful. It has helped me quickly find some missing assets, fill in a lot of blanks (ipdb number, author, rom, etc.) and it lets me use and create new filters that can be used both for this tool and for the Pinballx Lists. GREAT JOB!!!2 points

Another great product from the GameEx team! After having a great time with the PinballX front-end, I found GameEx Evolution which again upped my DIY home arcade! Never using the first GameEx, I wanted to give the newer version a go and have had great results so far. Like I mentioned in my PinballX review, this is a great way to show off your ROM collection... more than just a way to play, but a way to marvel at how far we have come from the PONG days. As a child of the 80's arcades, this is a great way to browse through the varied systems and see screenshots, videos and other information that you would be hard pressed to find any other way. I found the setup to be a lot better than the old version (I loaded it up to see what it was like), more focused on the emulators you have installed and getting them to work. This is still in beta, and as such there are a few hiccups (can't get the number of times played stats to save for each game) but overall it is a great front-end for MAME or any other system. Thanks guys!!2 points

Straight from Brazil. I've been a user since 2015 and a member since 2017 and your work is simply SPECTACULAR. Now with the recent release of Zen's Pinball FX on Steam, I came back to include it in my cabinet and was even more impressed with everything else they included in the program. I'm still on version 5.54 and will update to use all the new features, like the impressive PinballX Database Manager. Once again, congratulations and a happy 2025.1 point
