Instant Sheller: It allows you to one click shell GameEx or any other front end. Its for Windows XP Service pack 2 and above, Vista, Windows 7 and the latest versions of Windows 10/11. It also requires the .net framework 2 service pack 1 or above. It features a one click ‘Undo’. Updated May 2018 for support for the latest versions of Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise. For Windows 10 and 11 Enterprise it can completely hide everything. It can change the uefi boot logo on windows 10 and 11 too. To use this feature ensure secureboot and bitlocker is disabled. There is an option to set the windows resolution. This is intended for a portable PC where it may be connected to different TVs and upon connection to a new display the resolution may be reset. For those that need to be told and don't understand what this is, this software is use at your own risk. It is a good idea to not disable the quick sheller option. This ensures the shell is digitally signed in Windows and allows you to undo by tapping "u" when windows starts up.

This is the Visual Pinball installer downloaded as part of the PinballX setup. It is based on the official installer at http://www.vpforums.org by Toxie. It is mainly included here for consistency but at time of writing offers the following enhancements: - Avoids potential Bing toolbar install - Includes .net framework 4 and 4.5 for if required by Windows. (Required by B2S). - Checks for .net framework 2/3.5 and downloads and installs. (Required by XDMD). - Creates start menu items for the other versions of Visual Pinball and also Visual PinMAME. - By default does not install to program files which fixes PinMAME write access. - Signed by the usual Spesoft code certificate.

Note - This is a not a pack of pre-built wheel images These are two apps that will allow you to easily build animated wheel images (.apng format) for all your tables, either as rotating plain, neon text (as seen in preview images above) or convert existing images to spinning spheres with options to bulk build all your existing tables or single file build for any tables you add later. No more searching for a wheel for the latest table release - just build your own!. The apps do not overwrite your existing wheel images. New images are created in a separate ('Made') folder where you can view them before deciding if you want to use them (at which stage you can backup existing wheel images if you wish and then copy the new wheel images across) Prerequisites The apps are 64bit only. They will not run on a 32bit OS (sorry!). They also needs .Net 4.5 to run. You should only use the images produced by this app PinballX with version 4.84 and later. Install No installer as such, just download the file and extract the contents to a folder somewhere and then run TextToSpinball.exe or ImageToSpinball.exe Using the Applications Hopefully the app is straightforward, but just in case; Text To Spinball Input Text Area Set the text to be converted to a spinning ball if building a single animation, with some options for formatting. Format options are used for both bulk and single animations. Output Image Font Select a font to use. You can have different fonts for different systems if you wish (or if you have time specific fonts for individual tables). I tend to go for 'chunky' fonts like compacta, or a small caps font like mech effects 2. Output Image Type and Format Set the resolution required and number of frames for animations. To produce a static single frame png image set Rotation Frames to 1. Larger resolutions may not necessarily look better (because of the animation and short time each frame is shown), but will increase file sizes (as will increasing the frame count). Then set the animation type required plain text front, front and back or neon. For neon you can also set to use a colour or leave it as Auto which will pick a colour based on the text being animated (rainbow colours as the PinballX wheel is rotated), and from v1.1 also choose if you want to 'fill' the letters with dark transparency (useful if not being used with underlays in PinballX) Overlay APng in Image - use this option to overlay the animation on top of an existing static image file. The static image will then be the background for the completed apng (the static image can be larger than the animation size and can be placed at x,y co-ordinates) Frame Timing Speed up or slowdown the animation as you wish. The variate timing option will offer a degree of randomness (0-50%) if you want to vary the speed of wheel image animations (variation is by animation not frame to frame, so that the wheels will 'spin' in PinballX at slightly different speeds). Image Compression Compress output images using pingo compression. Use the default auto option unless you need more compression to lower file sizes or less compression because artefacts are seen in output images. If using manual compression note that 1 is maximum compression, 100 is minimum. Overwrite Existing Files - If unchecked then existing files (in the 'Made') will not be overwritten and will save processing time in bulk mode if no output options are changed and you are just creating wheels for new tables. Bulk Build Apngs - Select either a text file or a PinballX database xml file to process. If database xml is chosen wheel images will be created using text of the Table Description filed and named as the Table Name field, for txt files the text and file name will be the same single line from the file. Using xml as source allows you to copy the processed wheels to your databases' Wheel Images folder with no need to import individually (backup existing wheel image first!). Use Esc key to stop processing if needed. Open Made Folder - Opens the output folder. Build APng - Single animation build using text for as entered in in Input Text area. Image To Spinball This application is mainly intended for use converting logo type images to spinning animations. A lot of the options are very similar to Text To Spinball. Exceptions are; Source Image Select an image to convert. For images with transparent backgrounds you can also select to 'auto pad' the image ensuring a transparent margin is present around the image (to help prevent warping around the top and bottom of the source image in the ball image, and wrapping the start and end of the image together as it rotates without having a gap. For images with solid backgrounds best results can be achieved be ensuring a tileable background is used (to prevent a visible seam during rotation) and by using a square canvas. Output Image Type and Format Underlay Colour - Select a solid colour for use as a background colour in the output ball. Use Suggested Underlay Colour - Intended for bulk build of apngs where a complementary RYB underlay colour is auto selected based on the dominant colours in the source image Rotation Axis - Control the angle of rotation for output images Add Light Overlay - Adds light/shadow highlights to sphere image produced. Full Sphere - Applies the light/shadow to transparent areas as well. Add Tarcisio Overlay - Adds Tarcisio style overlay around the sphere images. Thanks to Rajo Joey for the template used. Add Extra Overlay - You can select this to add an image as an extra overlay (top level) on the output image. Options allow for placement of the overlay location on the output image. Full control of the overlay location can be done by manually adjusting the overlay image using a canvas size of 1000*1000, the placement and sizing of the overlay will then be respected relative to the output resolution from that. Bulk Build Apngs - Select image files rather than from database or text files. Example outputs Source Image With 250*250 resolution set Tarcisio Non Tarcisio General Usage Tips Some files are used by both applications - don't run ImageToSpinball and TextToSpinball at the same time! Only use the wheel images produced by this app with PinballX 4.84 or later Refine / test your settings using single image output before running a bulk build. When bulk processing the app is likely to use 100% CPU so best to just let it run when you're not trying to do something else. Depending on CPU you can expect to process one or two wheels a minute. Different output types produce different file sizes, neon images are the largest. Different fonts also produce different file sizes. You may need to tweak combinations of output resolution, frame count and compression settings to a find file size range that suits your font and output type. Configuration options are saved on exit and restored on next use so any new wheels you make will match the style of ones you made last time. If you want to preview any of the 'Made' files before adding them to PinballX then right click to 'open with' and choose any modern browser like Edge or Chrome, or use MNGer Although intended for use as wheel images you can use apng files for other media areas in PinballX (Topper etc), and with the release of PinballX Database Manager 21.04.08.0 you can also convert them to mp4 format during the import (which will reduce file sizes) if being used in other media areas. The images will likely look stretched into an egg shape though if your defined screen area is not square. Sample PinballX Underlay and Overlay images for use with these wheel images are provided in the support thread. If the apngs produced by these apps do not play back correctly in GameEx apps then try building them with the compression option turned off (and then try alternate compression methods e.g. https://tinypng.com/). Any Issues Please attach the Log_TextToSpinBall.txt and Config_TextToSpinBall.ini files or Log_ImageToSpinBall.txt and Config_ImageToSpinBall.ini from the apps folder with a description of any issue. Other Notes The application uses PixelMap, Magick.Net, ColorPicker, apngasm and Pingo libraries, my thanks to their authors. Please visit their sites and support their work! Feel free to distribute any wheels made with the app as you wish, please don't distribute the app itself - for support reasons just include a link to this page instead, thanks.

Converts image files to simple Gif or animated png (apng) animations. I built this to be able to quickly add set subtle animation styles to PinballX wheel and logo images, but it should work for any image you want to throw at it if you just want to animate a button or something (don't try it with 4k images though!). The app has two variations of animations, a sweeping left to right overlay/merge (stripe, cloud, stars or check patterns) and a colour flash/incremental change. Install No installer as such, just download the file and extract the contents to a folder somewhere and then run ImageToGif.exe Using the Application Source Image - Shows the image file you currently have selected. By default on load this is a PinballX logo. Select Colour Range - Here you can select what colour range from the source image any animation is applied to. The Exclude option inverts the selection to use anything outside the set range. Image Highlight / Preview Area - This image will show the areas of an image where animation effects will be applied to, or after animating an image to show a preview of the Gif created. Highlight Overlay Options - This is where you select the effect you want, its colour and at what level. Overlay and Merge Highlights are similar as they both produce a sweeping animation left to right, the Flash animation is simply to flash a different colour for a single frame with morph incrementing steps to and from that colour. Gif Output Options - Change the timing of your animation as you want. Buttons - Self explanatory Settings are saved / restored on app close / startup. Examples Overlay - Changing to these settings will produce; Merge - Changing highlight type to Merge; Colour Flash - Selecting a RGB range will limit the area of the image used for the animation, here we set the RGB range to match the turquoise are of the image, and set the highlight colour to Cyan as a colour to replace it in a single frame flash. Note the preview area reflects the selected RGB range. Colour Morph - To change the dark blue area of the image to more of a navy blue in steps, set the RGB values to reflect that area and select morph to incrementally change colour (rather than flash which is just one frame); Alternate Overlays Four types of overlays (used in the Overlay and Merge Highlight options are included with the app, Stripe (as above), Cloud, Check pattern and Stars (or snow, or just noise, call it what you want) E.g. Check Pattern selected; Advanced Use Overlays - The overlays used by the app can be found in the resources folder. These can be amended to alternatives if required. Photoshop PSD Files - The app can open .psd files and apply an effect to a single layer before building the output. This makes selection of areas to animate in the flattened image easier and can be combined with RGB values as well. See support thread for a bit more info / example. This option can be used by media creators, or if you have access to source psd files. Note some images may have issues with transparency if the psd file was created with Paint.net rather than gimp or photoshop. Transparent Colour option - For Flash and Morph options the app has the option to change transparency of the input image (or areas of it) in an animation for apng output. Select the Trans option instead of colour highlight. This can fade an area of an image (or a psd layer) partially or fully (depending on highlight level selected) General Usage Tips Apng format handles partial transparency, gifs don't. Use apng as output format for any image where partial transparency is used on edges. For PinballX wheel images using apng format output use the .apng extension option. For other uses .png should be ok. Building and previewing Gifs is quicker than building Apngs. Tweak and adjust settings where possible using Gif as the output format and then switch to Apng format for the final version where apng use is wanted. Lowering frame numbers will result in smaller output file sizes and quicker processing, but animations may not be as smooth. PSD files will be slowest to process input format. Use low frame count and gif as output while checking settings, selecting All Layers will be quicker than individual layers. Output file sizes can be reduced greatly via online compression/optimisation tools, e.g. https://tinypng.com/ for png/apng . Note that some tools are 'lossy' so check the results. Command Line / Batch The app does have a bulk option where it will process all images in a folder and output gifs to the same folder using the same file name. Options are limited as i don't expect it to be used much (as settings normally need changing for each image). Two parameters (All other processing options for the gifs are as set in the app config [as saved when last closed]); -I="path" - the folder of input images to process (no trailing \) -O=1 - overwrite existing gifs when set (0 to not overwrite, but that is default behaviour so not needed) Example cmd line - imagetogif -I="C:\Pinballx\Media\System Logos" -O=1 PSD files are excluded from command line processing Issues Please report any issues here, attaching the log.txt and config.ini files from the apps folder; Other Notes The application uses PixelMap, Magick.Net and apngasm, dependencies are included with the app. .Net 4.5 is needed for app to run. and thanks to @Mike_da_Spike for doing a few tests for me.

PBX Recorder will walk through all the VP tables found set up in Pinballx, launch each table and record/capture all videos and/or images automatically. This is intended for VP cab setups but will add Desktop support at some point (Note: Desktop users - there is now a beta version for single monitor desktop users below). By default, PBX Recorder is setup to find and record missing media. There are options to re-record all media if desired. What to record and length of videos are all configurable. NOTE: PBX Recorder uses the DirectB2S screenres.txt to figure out how to record the Playfield, Backglass and DMD. (If the DMD portion of screenres.txt is not filled in correctly, you will have trouble with DMD video or screenshot capture. Try the included ScreenResCheck utility, to see exactly what PBX Recorder will record) NOTE: PBX Recorder videos requires that you to install the LAV filters recommended for PinballX here: http://www.pinballx.com/codecs.exe To view the videos outside of PinballX, try a media player like this: https://mpc-hc.org/ Version history: Version 1.4 beta: - Drag and drop of new VPT/VPX files onto PBX Recorder to add a new table to the PinballX xml file - Ability to PAUSE recorder to setup table, i.e enable B2S, tweak script and RESUME. Double tap PAUSE to start recording immediately Version 1.3 - New record mode: "Record complete media set for new tables only" - Drag and drop of new VPT/VPX files onto PBX Recorder to record a single table(must be in XML already). - Ability to record in .mp4 format added - Ability to name media based on table or description names. Version 1.2 - Basic support for automatic Wheel image download via FTP if you have Pinballx FTP access. To enable FTP support, open the FTPLoginInfo.txt file and put in your user info. (If you do not have FTP access, the log file will provide a list of any missing wheel images) Version 1.1 - Bugfix release Version 1.0 - Initial version Special Thanks to: - Carny_Priest for his original ffmpeg recording scripts and input on the PinballX forums (http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/15207-capture-videos-to-pinballx-media-table-backglass-and-dmd) - All the beta testers

The MegaDocklets, as you know, are icons or oversized wheels style Draco, of PinballX.net. I'm doing the MegaDocklets for Future Pinball. FIRST DELIVERY At the moment they are ready the first 160, the easiest to do since I used it had already done for Visual Pinball least 4 or 5 I made from scratch. Many of them, not even if the table is in Future Pinball or not, simply because I've done it already had Visual. SECOND DELIVERY I am preparing a second installment with another 100 or so, the rest of tables that are in packs that I have uploaded, I have them in use or not and child tables. These take a few days, so be patient.

MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with images of the original arcade game's ROM and disk data, MAME attempts to reproduce that game as faithfully as possible on a more modern general-purpose computer. MAME can currently emulate several thousand different classic arcade video games from the late 1970s through the modern era. http://mamedev.org/

This is the latest release of my "Generate loading Videos" from playfield program. The idea started when PinballX introduced loading Videos and @scutters modified his "Loading Video & Image Changer (de-randomiser) " With Scutters his plugin and this program (and a lot of creativity of yourself), you can create your loading video's per table. Version 3 of this program, makes it much easier than the previous version I created. And more flexible. The settings interface can now easily add 'animations' (.gif, .apng or .mp4), you can choose the location where the animation should be added to playfield image And you can choose if you want to use an overlay (Some overlays already included) When set everything up, the program will create from your playfield video , a video with the animation on top (and if you choose an overlay, that will be placed above the playfield video and under the animation) Setup : Download the zip file , and extract all to the same folder Download the individual animations that you want to use as well Run CreateLoadingVideos.exe Select the PinballX system where you want to create the videos for Go to tab 'animations', and setup your Animations path. Put all your animations in that folder. Click on Add to add an entry, select your animation, select the overlay (or use the checkbox to not use an overlay) and set the location where you want the animation Exit the program if all is setup correctly Run CreateLoadingVideos.exe every time you add/modify your playfield videos The program will create missing loading videos and re-create loading videos if your playfield video is newer. It will randomly pick an animation that was setup. A big thanks to @scutters He created some animations, tested the program and helped with ideas on it if you create Videos of your playfield yourself (and with every update of the table), uses Scutters his de-randomizer plugin and this tools to generate the videos, it will look like a seamless start from front-end to the emulator itself. Backglasses are there to attract you to the table, the PinballX wheel serves the same purpose - the wheel images in this pack combine the two, backglass animated wheels All images are 800*600 as the 4:3 ratio seems to the best general fit amongst the different backglass size ratios and i wanted the size of the image to be consistent so they occupy the same space as each other on screen in PinballX. Over 1000 images in this pack, all in GIF format regardless of whether or not the backglass is actually animated or not (most are). Gif format is limited to 256 colour so file sizes are kept low (>1000 wheels for <300MB ) Also available to download is a simple full screen underlay image which you can use with the gif images as is, or as a template if you want. To use it make sure you set 'Underlay image type' to 'Fill screen' in PinballX Display Settings and then place the underlay in the PinballX\Media\Images folder (for use as a global underlay) or rename it to match your Visual Pinball system name and place it in PinballX\Media\System Underlays to use as an underlay for one system. Examples can be see in the previews, and in use look like this using the underlay; If you have a table with no backglass gif and want to keep everything with the same look and feel then so long as you have a backglass video you can build you own on https://ezgif.com/, or you could just use a static backglass image (as .png or .gif) if you want. Either way i'd recommend keeping to the 4:3 size ratio. Note for members with GameEx subscriptions - the images have also been uploaded to the FTP (under PinballX\Media\Visual Pinball\Wheel Images). On the FTP they are named as 'tablename[backglass style].gif' for easy identification and file import via PinballX Database Manager. Thanks - Rajo Joey and other media contributors, i'm not a table collector like some so most of the images in the pack use the content of backglass videos i did not record and i couldn't have made them without theirs. Of course, biggest thanks to all the Backglass creators @wildman, @hauntfreaks, Blacksad, @nestorgian, @HiRez00, @stefanaustria, @chucky87, @editoy , @32assassin + all the others (sorry if i missed you out, drop me a message and i'll add you!).

Go to VPDB.io What if there was a platform that would make it possible to download a game and everything related in one single click? A platform that comes with a tool that downloads and names content like it should be while respecting the author's work? That takes under a minute to set up? Something a newcomer would be instantly comfortable with? A platform where you can browse online, that is fast, open and beautiful, where searching for games is a matter of milliseconds and everything related to a game is in one place? A platform that is so simple to use that preloading cabs or burning DVDs wouldn't even make sense because it would be too cumbersome in comparison? A tool that would assist table authors in publishing their great work, where multiple authors can maintain a release and are properly credited? A tool that sits on your cab, is connected to the platform and updates games when the user tells it to? Even remotely, or even automatically as soon as the author of a game releases a new version? VPDB aims to be that platform. VPDB stands for Virtual Pinball Database. It can do many things you might even once have dreamt about. It's technology coming from members of the virtual pinball community who happen to be software engineers in professional life. It's a platform that makes it fun again to upload, browse, download, rate and comment on content created by this beautiful community. We've coded this up from scratch in our spare time and offer it as a free platform. The code is open source, that means everybody can install VPDB in their own environment and tinker with it. We also offer a public and documented API, giving access to our database to any third party applications you might come up with. The reason we've done this is because we believe that innovation comes from providing openly the tools necessary so they can be improved and live on. In such a vibrant community like this, where people provide hard and beautiful work at no cost, we think this is specially important.

First of all thanks to Tom for making this possible! I renderd this because i always had trouble to clearly see the wheel images. Now the small ones fit inside the arc and the big one stands out more on the glass / PF shadow. To use this you have to install the newest version of PinballX (4.36 or higher) and change the "Underlay Image Type" in the display settings to "Fill Screen". This is my first shot at this so feel free to give some constructive criticism!

Some users have asked me about how to make the MegaDocklets for tables added on your own, tables that I have not in use and therefore I have not made the MegaDocklet. Although the .PSD templates for Photoshop are quite simple to understand and the layers are already prepared, users who are not accustomed to Photoshop may cost a little and that is why I have prepared this video.

Pro-Pinball returns to the fray with a remastered TIMESHOCK version probably launch more reputable and I do not take time to get remastered versions of his three titles, The Web, Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey, though so I read on your website, will have to take it easy. Pro-Pinball launched these four great games to late 90s, if I remember correctly, from 95 to 99 and as I understand, had the peculiarity that in this case, first made the PC game and then the machine was Real Pinball, unlike as usual. These games more than one we did enjoy thousands of hours, among whom I include myself because I still have the TIMESHOCK, Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey, which although get run on a current Pc, have been virtually unplayable and resolutions very low. The remastered TIMESHOCK version is already well advanced, when I did the advance purchase on Steam, still had several flaws that have been polished in recent months, there are now several available views and others in development, you can set controls from the program, you can set graphics and lighting options, etc. In the pipeline are the options for cabinets that will soon go by what I read, but now already supports resolutions vertically and can be played perfectly failing to place the DMD and the menus are responsive to keyboard and / or joystick rather than just the mouse. 1 DOWNLOAD TABLES The tables have to purchase on Steam, so far can only buy TIMESHOCK. In Visual Pinball you can get the table The Web. 2 SETTING THE TABLES The new version of TIMESHOCK and lets you define keys and joysticks from the game and also incorporates more visual options, lighting, etc. In future updates will be the option to Pincabs the moment we can not move the DMD and the Playfield have added the Speaker Panel with DMD, but the gameplay is already very good. 2.5 CONFIGURACIÓN EN PINBALL X 3 DATABASE FOR PINBALLX In the file download you will find the database, it is certainly the smallest since only contains 4 games and currently all open Pro-Ultra Pinball. There will only be TIMESHOCK also have to select it using the mouse (for now). PinballX will show the four unless you modify the database. 4 MEDIAS FOR PINBALLX In the file download, in addition to the database you will find the logo of Pro-Pinball for system images, the logo of the manufacturer and the means for PinballX or frontend you use. Here I put some examples: Full Screen backglass for 3 monitors, resolution 1920X1080 - 16/9 Backglass with grill in 4/3 for two monitors, but so far I have not seen how to move the DMD. Table Images and video table TIMESHOCK Wheels Megadocklets Wheels custom made by me to use in the crook of DMD while there can not carry the DMD. The download also includes the audio table and ArtWorkCab for those who want to vinyl for Virtual Pinball machine. Here you can see it working. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wUNIzcfR0WM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I created a game Draco MegaDocklets type systems, with its staff. These are large MegaDocklets like the rest of MegaDocklets otherwise would Docklets or MiniDocklets. Being large can come in handy to print vinyl or similar things. The pity is that for arcade systems there precisely many large images and some of them have been enlarged, but there is.
