We all start into this arena knowing very little. Some catch on quicker than others, while some need a little more time and hand-holding (REPRESENT!) to get comfortable with the apps and the various personalities. Tom and the mods have done a great job keeping things light and responsive. I've seen more and more people attracted to the software and the forums and I believe that the word is getting out about us.

What good is all the eye-candy when an SRD shoots you down for asking a question? One thing I have noticed from a user standpoint - the more I step-up my game to help others and give advice, the more I notice others doing so. We might not always be right, but sometimes being willing is more important. To all, keep up the great work!

Ok, now I see around 8000 games :

1. Deactivated all ROM filters

2. Updated the list

Now everything is fine...except that I have e.g. 8 versions of the same game...what setting does control that in the roms filter ?

If you have bracketed text disabled, you will see many copies of the same game (clones) that will be listed with identical entries. If you want to know what the difference is, enable bracketed text. If you don't want to have multiple copies of games at all (most people don't), you will want to use filters to remove clones.
