My Saturn games are in bin/cue format, contained in .rar files. If I manually unzip and play the games, they work. However, when I try and play through GameEx, Saturn boots into the bios screen and tells me the disc is not suitable for the system. So, I'm assuming that this is something going wrong with the unzipping portion. Perhaps the only thing unzipped is the cue file, and obviously that would be an unsuitable disc. Or, perhaps Dameon launches before the auto unzipper does its thing? I don't know...stumped again....
fRequEnCy
I don't believe rar is a supported file type. It's not a compression format usually used by emulators which is why zip and 7zip files are supported.

Draco1962
As Frequency noted, 7z and zip file formats are supported. Please extract the files and then recompress them using one of these supported formats and let us know if this resolves the issue.

It was indeed the rar format, so I zipped everything in 7z format. SSf.exe in command line, dameon tools set to launch before and after. Problem solved! However, Tom never coded it to use the rar format. I remember it being requested before but was never implemented. But as I mentioned before, rar is a format not generally used in emulation. I'm back to it just going black for a second and then going back to game ex when i hit Play Game. I left the unmount command blank just to see if it was loading the file into daemon tools (to try to isolate the problem, if that makese sense), but it's not mounted when I exit game ex and I don't have anything telling it to unmount so im pretty sure its not mounting. Adultery
You need to drop [-virtualdrive-] from the command line if you're using dt. That's for Tom's native ISO loader, and it doesn't do bin/cue files. Also make sure you can get dt to mount an image via command line just to make sure it's working properly.
