Customizing Tabs in Game Browser

I was wondering if there was a way to add another tab to the game browser or edit the existing ones. For instance, instead of just the manufacturer, year, and categories, there could be another user selected category which could be used to group games into personal groupings. Perhaps I am asking for a new feature, but I was hoping to find a way like it is now. I personally would like to group all Mario, or Sonic games together though they spread different platforms.

It is possible but not how you were hoping.

You would need to create new emulator setups and put them in a group.

You can use the search feature to do this on the fly.

I DID actually think of using emulator groups and I see that you can get more than what is originally shown in the configurations menu. I think it was in Custom menus that I saw it. This does seem like work but probably worth it for me. For now the other suggestion, (bkenobi) was something I had opted to not make available until now. I think it could be helpful for this now that you mention it. Thank you for the help!
