So I hadn't used Gameex in a couple of weeks and sat down to play some SNES and I am having some issues with 7zip support. When I click on a game it opens up zsnes; but does not load the game. If I manually browse to the 7unzipped path in zsnes the rom is there and has been correctly unzipped. After trying my other emulators all of them are having problems loading the rom file from the 7unzipped folder. After looking at the log I found this:

Running: cmd.exe /c D: zsnesw.exe "D:\Gaming\SNES\Unzipped7-Zip\Unzipped7-Zip\ActRaiser (USA).sfc"

For some reason it is passing the Unzipped7-zip path twice in the command line. For it to work correctly I would expect it to send:

Running: cmd.exe /c D: zsnesw.exe "D:\Gaming\SNES\Unzipped7-Zip\ActRaiser (USA).sfc"

I thought it may be something screwed up on my side so I uninstalled and reinstalled Gameex and it is still doing the same thing. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. This problem arose with one of the recent updates. I am using version 9.90 and I know everything was working fine in previous versions.

Has anyone else using 7zip support experienced any problems with the version 9.90?

I tried the attached exe and it resulted in the same behavior. I'm positive that I am using the newest version 9.9, I downloaded it last night from the site and installed it on a fresh PC in which gameex has never been installed. I'm attaching the log so you can take a look at it. From looking at the log the path is still incorrect:

Running: cmd.exe /c D: zsnesw.exe "D:\Gaming\SNES\Unzipped7-Zip\Unzipped7-Zip\Aero Fighters (USA).sfc"

Please attach GameEx.ini and delete data\emu_2.map

I can see a problem, but its affecting games in zips not 7zips. Are you games zipped?

Yeah they are traditionnally zipped, with a .zip extension. For some reason I thought they were 7zipped; but they aren't.

OK, good. Can you confirm this attachment fixes it.

Cheers.

That did the trick, it seems to be working right with zips again. Thanks for looking into this and finding a fix so quickly.
