Error on startup?

getting this error on startup in version 4.89. Will upgrading fix this? (still unable to download after clearing cahe so will try on another computer tomorrow)

You should be able to download now, but no that error has no relation to fixes in the latest version. Check your sound card, and drivers are good, and enabled. This is purely to do with you sound card, as far as I can see.

I get the same error as the user above. As soon as I can get it working again. I will donate

hmm its an onboard sound card.

I just upgraded to the latest version and all is working without issue now.
