Question: In Game Menu For KeyMapping -

Hey all, here is the scoop - I had my machine running great for about a year now.. All 12 game buttons on my Street Fighter style setup worked great. I know when I first put the machine together there was trouble mapping the last two (buttons 11 & 12) on the player II side to work properly. They are recognized as 'I' and 'K' by my config board. I recall having to enter an in game menu for a lot of games and assigning I and K to those buttons. For some reason, those configurations are gone and I need to reassign. Cannot remember for the life of me what the command to enter that in game menu is!

You need to open up the Mame UI Config and re-program player 2 button 5 and 6. You bring up the Mame UI Config with the Tab key.

Thanks for the quick reply - Unfortunately I'm not getting the desired result when I hit TAB. Whenever I hit the TAB key the screen position rotates 90 degrees. Is there another way to get to the UI Config screen?

You need to be in a mame game, not GameEx.

If you are still having issues it is your default.cfg

Tab SHOULD bring up the config.. you should press it once in the game you need to re-define the controls for.

Once in the config menu (MAME) goto input settings and player2
