I have the registered version of GameEx configured for SNES but I cant for the life of me get it to recognize my roms. All of my roms are .smc files. I've experimented with the rom filter including deleting the filter line entirely, but it still wont recognize the roms. I'm positive my rom path is correct. Why is it doing this.

Also I'm still trying to figure out how to set my emulators to exit if i press buttons 5,6,7,8 all at the same time on my controller. I've kind of figured out it has something to do with the advanced configuration file and changing the parameters to True according to your controller, however how do I make it work in other programs than zsnes, such as an nes emulator?

Is your rom filter *.SMC?

As far as the maping you can make a cfg for all emus you want to use..

yes my filter is *.SMC and it will still not recognize the files. Just to be sure i opened up zsnes manually and checked for them and they were there and ran perfectly, but GameEx still will not recognize them.

Disable the game database. and 7zip for the emu.

See if this helps

You know what, I had a similar problem with regular NES. I still dont know what setting caused it. But the remedy was to import the emulator configuration file again and then go and change all the paths back to what I was using.
