  1. I'm having trouble getting neoragex (the gamex imported neo geo emulator) to work with my registered copy of GameEx. My command line is set to "NeoRAGEx.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" which would work perfectly if this emulator were anything like most of the other emulators, like jnes, zsnes, and Fusion. But no matter what I seem to do it just opens neoragex's front gui menu. Is there anyway to bypass this menu like I was able to do with the other emulators and go straight to the rom I selected in gameex. Also I've figured out how to exit games with the push of a combination of buttons on my controller for all of my emulators, which i have set to the ZSNES V6 advanced config. Mame doesn't give me the option of including an advance config file. How do I set up mame so that i can exit back to GameEx with a combination of buttons on the controller. Thanks for your help everyone, I really do appreciate the excellent customer support for this program.
  2. yes my filter is *.SMC and it will still not recognize the files. Just to be sure i opened up zsnes manually and checked for them and they were there and ran perfectly, but GameEx still will not recognize them.
  3. ps thanks for the advice to install a fan in my comp, worked like a charm in stopping my computer from crashing.
  4. I have the registered version of GameEx configured for SNES but I cant for the life of me get it to recognize my roms. All of my roms are .smc files. I've experimented with the rom filter including deleting the filter line entirely, but it still wont recognize the roms. I'm positive my rom path is correct. Why is it doing this. Also I'm still trying to figure out how to set my emulators to exit if i press buttons 5,6,7,8 all at the same time on my controller. I've kind of figured out it has something to do with the advanced configuration file and changing the parameters to True according to your controller, however how do I make it work in other programs than zsnes, such as an nes emulator?
  5. Hi everyone. So far with my limited experience with your program ive found GameEx to be a terrific and very sleak product. However trying to get this program to work on my computer is giving me a significant headache. I have no problem getting the program up and running and running well for a few minutes but if I spend any more than two minutes in the menu my computer seems to overheat and shut down. Granted my computer is just above the minimum system requirements I have never had this problem with any other programs. My computer is an Athelon 1.2 Ghz with 512 Ram and a ATI Radeon 9300. What can I do on the software side to fix this problem? Are there some settings i can change to prevent my computer from overheating. Also if I ever get this program working without it entirely crashing my computer is there a way to set up my game controller to enable you to exit Mame or emulated games with the push of a button?
