Hmm.... a tough one. But i'd probably go with Search as i think a lot of people have requested this (and menu wrapping i think).

V3 themes sound pretty awesome, but having a large collection I have to vote for the search.

I like the idea of being able to make new themes, but when it comes down to it I'm just not that talented with building them. Thus, I have to vote for Search since I know I would use that!

Oddly enough I'm more interested in the v3 theme support, even tho I have no current plans of creating a theme.

Gonna go with search.

Especially if it includes multiple folders like multimedia for games. Would luv to be able to have folders under each emulator for USA, Japan, Europe etc for roms. Use Good tools and breaks them up for me into folders by country.

Any chance the search feature will span emulators? I was hoping that there might be a way to search for mario and have it display all results from MAME, NES, SNES, N64, etc. This is a lot more complicated than you were probably planning, but this would be AWESOME!!!!

With the X-Box 360 Messenger Kit coming out and the keyboard attachment, now would be a perfect time to get the search thing going. Tom, are you planning on making it a start page category of it's own? Or will this be on the side like say, search by manufacturer, year, golden age, etc.

If you do put it on the main page, can you stick right above exit?

An upcoming search feature got me thinking. Here's a couple of ideas I think would be cool.

I took a random screenshot from the homepage, depicting the default theme. So idea number 2 looks a little misplaced, but its just to visualize my idea.

1: A "Search" button next to the "Home" and "Exit" buttons would give access to the search feature on every page of GameEx.

2: When typing the text criteria with a control panel, the alphabet is shown as pictured. Left, right and Enter navigates. Some sort of autocompletion would be awesome, but maybe a little too ambitious?

I assume you got a lot of ideas yourself Tom, so merely see these as (ingenious) suggestions.

Admittedly, I don't know if this is even possible with V2 themes.
