Arcade PDF's

Can anyone show me where I can get a torrent or zip of the available pdf's for arcade machines. I've found a couple of slooow sites that make you download each one at a time which is painfully slow. I've also found a torrent but the tracker no longer recognized it. Can anyone help out?

I downloaded a huge torrent of Arcade PDFs in my search to add game manuals to my Mame games (like I've done with a few of my console systems). I was disapointed, when the torrent finished, to find that they were operator's manuals and didn't include much more than dip switch settings and tiny bit of tech info. At any rate they weren't going to be of much use to an end user so I ended up tossing the file... (sorry if that's what you were looking for, otherwise i'd seed it for you)

If you find anywhere to get gameplay manuals for arcades (I don't know that they were ever produced, short of key maps for the arcade controls that were usually up on the marquee) I'd be keen to know where.

If you're looking for manuals and really can't find a torrent, I guess that www.crazykong.com or http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/ARCADE/ are good places for "manual" downloads.

UG has several torrents with manuals and such. One has 5gb+ of extras another has over 8gb+ of extras. I'm Dl the 5gb torrent.

So are all of these manuals for setting up the game and cabinet correctly and mantenance, or do any of them include gameplay? I also downloaded one of these torrents (from PD I think) but found that it was all operator type info rather than end user type stuff. I really was hoping for a Nintendo type manual. Anyone have anything?

I believe the Arcade manuals are mostly just repair & maintenance type manuals. I could be wrong but I don't think there are too many, if any, gameplay type manuals for arcade machines.

If you want gameplay manuals for consoles you can get some by doing a search for "manuals" at the same place you got your arcade torrent. However, they do not have the forbidden ones. I think Circo has been adding some of these to his site see this topic: Complete Collections at EmuMovies, Inspired By GameEx.

As far as I know the only gameplay manuals for arecade are the instruction cards usually located by the bezel.

It would be nice to see a collecton of those

These are nice to have but quite useless in a multigame cab.

Id refer to the MAME COMMAND.DAT

This is of course support by headkaze cpviewer.. Just pause the game and have all moves / Info at your finger tips

I think both have their place. I would like to be able to display the original card if it's available, but agree that when playing the CPWizard is a little easier.

If you are downloading from a site like http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/ARCADE/ that only allows you to download individual files, try the DownThemAll plugin for firefox. All you have to do is right click on the site, select DownThemAll and filter to only download the pdfs. It will then download all the pdfs in that page's directory.
