  1. Great, thanks guys. Please be assured that I have no intensions of abusing your generosity. The question has been in the back of my mind for some time, and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't violating the license agreement. Your work and that of all the people here has been extraordinary. I will be sending a few extra dollars your way soon. I figure, I owe you a beer or two.
  2. Maybe Tom can chime in on this one. I have a similar situation. I have GameEx on my Cab and on my "office" pc. Do I need a different license for each, or does one license cover all installs in the household? Thanks, 1
  3. Yep, here's the original thread: Speakers causing discolouration on monitor Hey Kaze, please let us know if they work. I'm building a juke and need to consider this. Thanks!
  4. You all are so great! Thanks for all your hard work, it is really appriciated.

    Beta DB's

nevermind, had my settings different, I only show 2 pages is that the Sep 30 2007, posts?
  7. I would! I think this was discussed a little as Starbuck mentioned, however I can't find the thread. It would be great to have something similar when you choose a MAME game in GameEx, where you can view pics of console, controllers, ads, ect. and have some text history.
  8. Hey gerble, looks like you should be ok. Also looks as though you paid an ok price. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. The OEM version of the software is sold primarily to system builders and small PC manufacturers. One of the requirements for installing this is to provide support to the end user for the system. Seeing as you are the end user of the system you built, then you must support yourself.
  9. I agree with Nologic, ma&pa shops are the way to go, you can get OEM and support local businesses at the same time. Check your yellow pages, should be something around you. Here's an example, and I think they will ship as well: Iguana Micro They have XP-home in the price range Nologic mentioned, however their XP-pro appears to be a bit high. I too am trying to find an OS for a juke, however I'm not wanting to spend over $50. That has been leading me to look into Linux which is free. Not sure if you've looked into this option, but might be worth considering. Good luck! ** Disclaimer: I am in no way associated with iguanamicro. I just shop there for a lot of my system needs and have been impressed with their customer service and prices.
  10. Within the emulator game lists, the recently played games show at the top then a space then your complete list. To disable displaying the recently played games you need to turn off the "Show last played" option in the emulator setup. see this thread: Recently Played Games Won't Go Away!!!!
  11. Are these the ones you're looking for? beta db's beta db's, Step 2
  12. Good point Brian. I wonder if these could be developed from the "artwork" snaps. Or maybe another source exists?
  13. I believe the Arcade manuals are mostly just repair & maintenance type manuals. I could be wrong but I don't think there are too many, if any, gameplay type manuals for arcade machines. If you want gameplay manuals for consoles you can get some by doing a search for "manuals" at the same place you got your arcade torrent. However, they do not have the forbidden ones. I think Circo has been adding some of these to his site see this topic: Complete Collections at EmuMovies, Inspired By GameEx. one
  14. That's cool, thanks.
  15. me likey! Circo, is it possible for us to "build" these sets from a .dat? I haven't quite figured out this process, but my thinking is that I may have some of your work already downloaded and would like to grab it from my current sets and seed. Not sure if that makes sense, just trying to keep from downloading stuff I already have (no need to tie up your bandwidth or that of other seeders). one
  16. Try here: Best brands of the World one
  17. Kaze, Might we expect to see something this weekend? EDIT:Never mind. Just saw your beta tester thread, so that it looks as though your getting very close. Let us know when you setup the paypal donations. I'm ready to throw you a few bones, even if you need to delay the release. one
  18. Here's a quote from MAME32xt site: "What they are and how you can see them: These arts are images collection like the classic snapshots, with the difference that you can see the correspondent artwork applied to the game. For seeing them in a new mame32 tab, download the already modified emulator you can find in this page." To be honest, I haven't tried them yet (guess I was waiting for Tom to get GameEx support -- THANKS TOM!) My understanding is that they are essentially a "screen snapshot" with artwork included. They are meant to be used just like the snaps, titles, pcbs, cps, etc. Hope that helps.
  19. I went ahead an PM'd you, although you may have already got the info. Also, for reference there are some here: http://www.progettoemma.net/manuals.php
  20. I thought I was being a smarta** by just pointing out the obvious: preview artwork = artwork preview. It's ok nobody ever gets my jokes. Guess I'll just climb back under my rock.
  21. They are previews of the MAME artwork. OK sorry for the smarta** comment, they are snaps of the game with the artwork together. Check out MAME32xt (Link) 1
  22. Kaze, I for one am very excited to see the release, however I am willing to wait until you work out the issues. Once you get the paypal thing setup let us know, I'm ready and willing to donate even before the official release as I know you have been "busting butt" to get it done. Also, if you feel it not appropriate to release until we get word back that everything is cool with Brian and his Mom, then I'm sure we will all support you in that decision. 1
  23. Thanks Tom! As always the support and frequent improvements are greatly appreciated. If only you could run the I.T. department at my work, my life would then be perfect!
  24. Sending prayers and angels for support. God bless.
  25. No doubt, but I think it's more like: GameEx: Overexcited users
