Some people (including myself) has a lot of problems with controls hanging and so on with the X-Arcade Dual, but this is ONLY in MAME. PC games and everything else works tip-top.

Yep no probs here. had mine as an self bild kit. some times I do get the joy command stuck for about 7 seconds but hardly ever. works fine in all my other emus.

Just out of curiosity, what MAME builds do you guys use? Regular MAME, MAME32, MAME32 Plus!, or MAME32FX? Or something else?

I also get the controls hanging at times, not always but often enough to get a little annoying! for example playing shootemup type games i push up and back to centre and my ship continue's upward! as i said a little annoying but nothing major.

i use Mame32 by the way

Xarcade is just a keyboard (essentially) goto controlpanel and keyboard. and try adjusting the repeatrate..

I never had any problems when I used by dual stick and I am running mame32 through gameex. I am now using one with an key wiz though.
