How do I create a VERTICAL theme?

I'm gonna run gameex on a cabinet with a vertical, standard resolution monitor.

How can I edit a theme to work like this?

if i'm not mistaken craig, hitting TAB in gameex rotates the screen 90 degrees. as far as having to do this every time i'm not sure. i hit it by accident once and it took me a few to figure out what i pressed. give that a go, close gameex, and re-open it and let me know if it stays rotated.

I think what he wants to do is get a theme designed specifically for vertical monitors, not figure out how to rotate the screen. I haven't looked to see what themes work vertically and look good. HK could probably answer your question best since he wrote the theme editor.

ya i'm saying design a them, then rotate it when it's done. it looks fine, on my pc, if i were to turn the screen verticle it'd be what i think he's talking about.

You cant actually design a specific vertical theme, but if you design a theme so it does not require exact placement of items to match up with the background, like the default GameEx themes other than blueex and redex, you should be good. Just have to try it and see.
