I have this same problem. All the resolutions that I have established in INI files are not being read through GameEX. When I try to play a game through GameEx it looks all cloudy like it is being stretched or something. When playing a game through the command line everything looks great. Anyone have any ideas?????? I'm using the latest registered version of GameEx and I have an ArcadeVGA card going into a real arcade monitor.

I'm gonna run gameex on a cabinet with a vertical, standard resolution monitor. How can I edit a theme to work like this? Thanks!

All of my Daphne games work perfectly with GameEx with the exception of Dragon's Lair 2. The game works perfectly in DaphneLoader and running straight from the command line in Windows, but it wont work in GameEx. What the hell? It flashes a window that says something about a bad command line, but as I said that same command line works perfectly in windows and daphneloader. Help?

Any ideas?

PROBLEM SOLVED. I had GameEx set to "Wait for Vsync". Changed it "Don't wait" Problem solved. thanks!

OK, so I removed all of the codecs and installed FFDSHOW again. Once again the videos stutter while playing and they are displayed upside down. I removed FFDSHOW and reinstalled the XP codec pack. I'm back to stuttering videos but at least they are right side up. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I did get them from Pleasuredome. I'll trying deleting and reinstalling the codes tonight.

Any ideas on this????

I got the complete set from the torrent. It's a private torrent and they play fine. My set up is a 2.0 ghz P4. 1gb ram. ArcadeVGA card through a CGA monitor displaying GameEX at 640x288

Well, I was using this one: http://www.xpcodecpack.com/ Then I thought that I would try this one: http://ffdshow.sf.net When I tried the second one, not only does it play choppy, but the snap plays UPSIDE DOWN! Ugh.

What would be the greatest feature ever would be the ability to filter Vertical games from Horizontal. And I still would like an even BIGGER font size option. Hell. I'll even kick a few bucks to add this!

They play nice and smooth in WMP.

Hello, I was trying out my MAME Attract videos and they all play, but they are really choppy. They are in AVI format. Everything else in GameEx works great. Nothing else is slow or choppy. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks, but when I do that the mouse cursor stays hidden which makes it really hard to deal with. Is there any way to get the cursor back when leaving gameex? Thanks, Craig

I'm seriously screwed here. I cannot get my desktop back to normal at all. Not even in safe mode. Everything is just black. Does anyone know a way out of this?

How about the ability to have even BIGGER font sizes. This would really help on a 19" Arcade monitor. Thanks!

Instead of having a seperate panel of letters to skip to, why not have it be possible to assign a button or joystick movement to jump ahead to the next letter in the alphabet. Also, the Ultrastyle front end has a cool feature that allows you to adjust how many games to skip upon pressing a button. I have mine set to where I skip fifty games at a time by pressing my 3rd fire button. Then when i'm in the general area it isn't as annoying go right to the game I want with my joystick. What do you think?
