Now that video previews play a lot better in GameEx, I've implemented what I think is an awesome feature, and that is GameEx can now preview your actual video/movies

Its on by default, although I recommend it only for modern systems (dual core etc)

The setting is under multimedia in the advanced config if you don't like it and want to turn it off. Although I'm loving it here!

Id love to get some feedback on this. You like?

It looks like a great feature, although when I go over a video it will start twice like a stutter Ie. plays video -> 1 second of playing -> restarts video and plays.

BTW I just uninstalled K-Lite and installed ffdshow-20051129.exe again because of the mpeg crash I was getting but I'm still getting the error I reported in the other thread. So now I'm thinking it must be something introduced recently because these videos played before with this codec.

BTW The video preview feature is actually on by default and it will only show picture snaps if you have them already generated under GameEx\MEDIA\VIDEOS. Perhaps you could add an override feature if video preview is enabled.

HK, I wonder if its worht updating the setupwizard xml, with the new themes and new settings?

Theres a new setting for emulators (at the end in config.csv) and obviously the video preview setting.

Love the idea of previewing vids and such. I am in the process of upgrading my machine and can't wait to test all of these updates.

The latest release fixes the crashing and stutter bug in Videos, but now when I play a video the audio from the preview video continues playing also.

Hehe indeed, reminds me of the NBA Jam sample "He's on fire!". You might like to include the new LCDPlugin with the next release also.

EDIT: Oops just fixed another bug in the LCDPlugin, it's now at 1.92
