Wow, I've just realized I've been 'out of the loop' for a while now My current version of GameEx is at 7.05.

I have never upgraded my gammex before, can I just download the new one and install it over the old directory or will it overwrite all my configs?

Install over the old. It only generates new configs if they don't already exist.
