Slow Boot Time with InstantSheller

I use instantsheller to go straight to GameEx on my arcade cabinet. If I don't touch any keys my boot time is around 1:30. However, at a certain point I will see the GameEx loading screen (boot screen replacement) and then will get a mouse pointer. At this time it seems to just be waiting and I can press escape on my cabinet's keyboard and GameEx will load immediately. If I don't press escape it takes FOREVER to get past this on its own. It seems like a dialog or something may be popping up that I can't see due to instantsheller, but I don't know this for sure. If I press escape when I get to that point my boot time is more like 20 secs. Anyone using instantsheller know what's up, or how I can reliably find out?

Yes, and how do I "unload" InstantSheller if the undo button doesn't do it for me? I've tried pressing it, restarted windows, but it still hides everything and boots into GameEx. It's not a big deal since this is on my dedicated GameEx machine and I can always exit to windows to setup stuff, but for users that are uncomfortable using only a keyboard it's not easy getting the mouse pointers visible again.
