Sound in attract mode

I've had gameex set for a while to run attract mode without sound. It just loads up the mame rom and zero sound. Now it plays sounds, not at full volume, but it's clearly playing audio now. Any idea how to fix that?

Please attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files in your response to this thread (no copy & paste). Also, let us know if there have been any recent updates with Windows and/or hardware. Thanks!

While getting the logs I noticed one thing that's odd. When it does start in attract mode it's setting the volume for some reason. I checked an old backup I had of the machine from last week and when it runs the command in attract mode last week it's not attaching the -volume 32.
